Have they reduced the RM6599 Package to this RM6399? Then I'd suggest all go for that. But then everyday it changes according to my sales contact there, CHUEN who says one day they'll be pushing the m15x and the next another model like the m17x but seems like they're pushing aggressively the M15x. This is great considering you're saving RM200 more on top of getting already the 2GB Extra ram worth RM700...

After yesterday, the only thing stopping me going to PC Fair again is the bloody JAM!!!

I asked the salesperson the same thing. He told me that at the moment they're pushing for the M15x cos apparently they lost customers when they only had the M17x out due to size, weight etc.... So they are winning back the market with the M15x or at least that was their apparent market strategy promoted to me.... But they change their offers from day to day so maybe today there is a deal for the M17x or tomorrow.

Whats the point of getting a Good backpack that doesn't fit your notebook?

I know, you are like one of the founding fathers of the M15x. Looks on the bright side, you have yours for a while now already while we have to endure a waiting period of longer than you... Lets not compare prices....

The problem is you can't bargain. The sales guy there by the name of Chuen let me in on a secret that the offer changes from day to day. Today something extra but minus this, tomorrow diff liao.

The proc upgrade is not much discounted for me. Also bout 1k plus after I calculated but cheaper than the listed RM1.3K. But I didn't get mine at the fair. Just that payment and all received on Friday so they processed my order. I wanted the proc upgrade cos I read the game benchmarks online using 820QM and was satisfied with the results. Maybe future gaming will be better... I didn't need the 6GB Ram which I can change later when prices drop from the 4GB(2X2gb sLOTS) ... sO I didn't have to bargain all with the sales. I think today they would have higher volume of M15x sales. Yesterday 10+ , today might be more....
I didn't get BD Rom. But I got the Alienware tactX mouse for RM130..

As for the Proc, Im just future proofing for the games as well as upgrading for program purposes for my graphical needs. I dunno but I feel that if I can, I would prefer not to take the entry level Proc. I mean, I don't even know how much diff a 6mb cache on the 720QM is to the 8MB Cache on the 820QM but I'd rather upgrade it...

Carried the M17x yesterday. NOW THATS HEAVY...
No offers for the M17x... wonder why? ... But so many on display...

My limit was cost of the M17x. To get a decent unit have to touch 5 Figures almost...

Casing so expensive. Damn, must be paying for the badging and the motorised vents.

BTW, RM9k for a decent system? The proc is standard right? just GPU Upgrade to twin 260m SLI?
