not necessarily to be like that.
there is no problem with 4GB + 2GB configuration.

as far as i remember, 4GB DDR3 worth ~RM 1,500

its a good deal when you have an extra bucks.
if not, 4GB DDR3 will be sufficient even under heavy usage
but since there is promotion for that, why not right

you mean M15x right? what is your highest temp achieved?

by the way Azurika, you ever noticed that some games need extra adjustment before it using both of GPU?
try to switch On the CPUID Monitor before gaming and see the peak temp for both GPU.

COD MW2 is one of them. but just using one GTX280M, it run like fluid too
