I thought that in order to fully utilize the ram, we must have it parallely e.g 2 x 2 g, 2x4g and so on. Is it true? Can someone enlightenned me on this?
*
not necessarily to be like that.
there is no problem with 4GB + 2GB configuration.

Then, that really is a good deal.
*
its a good deal when you have an extra bucks.
if not, 4GB DDR3 will be sufficient even under heavy usage smile.gif
but since there is promotion for that, why not right biggrin.gif

The deal is RM6599 with 3x2GB Ram. YES...3 SLOTS for ram.

*
i see. thats why they do not bother upgrading for 6GB.
if there is just 2 slots, no way on earth Dell gonna give you 4GB DDR3 as promotion sweat.gif

wow a m11x is interesting but afraid the build in keyboard too small for gaming or even typing
*
well we do not know about that yet, but i think its not gonna be a problem.

the real problem is using laptop that have normal sized keyboard but cannot achieve what M11x achieved in term of gaming performance biggrin.gif

yep. still here. i will have final examination on this 30th and back to motherland on 6th Feb smile.gif

QUOTE(amunriel @ Jan 10 2010, 08:09 PM)
Agree, personally only recommends getting it through PC Fair or some internal deals with Dell workers. Otherwise Allienware = Overpriced with its quality of product nowadays. ( Made in China ) LoL
*
somehow i have to agree with the bolded statement.
we can see a lot of seller in LYN that sell AW peripheral much cheaper than retail price.

yeap , true also  tongue.gif  but when im running OCCT , the temp went pass 95' at the 4min 30 sec =.= i straight shut down ... gaming wise , its very fine ~ haha
*
by the way Azurika, you ever noticed that some games need extra adjustment before it using both of GPU?
try to switch On the CPUID Monitor before gaming and see the peak temp for both GPU.

COD MW2 is one of them. but just using one GTX280M, it run like fluid too brows.gif
