QUOTE(Mask13 @ Aug 15 2010, 03:32 PM) oh. sorry. my bad. from PnS you listed above. LX5 is my first choice because i've been lusting for LX3 for a very long time. but i still can't decide to buy the LX5 when it's available in Malaysia or buy NEX-3 instead. both camera might be a good start for me. which would you recommend? If the choice is between LX5 and NEX-3, i would definitely choose the latter immediately!DSLR quality with interchangeable lenses! Can spam ISO3200 somemore p/s: Opt for the 18-55 so that you can get some zoom or better get both the 16mm pancake lens +18-55 |

Image quality and ISO performance for both DSLRs are pretty similar
Handling and build quality of the D90 trumps the 550D but loses out on the 1080p video recording.550D is new stuff with the latest features whereas D90 is already an old model. My advice, go try it out yourself.Either one would definitely produce good quality shots |

Bear in mind, once you've chosen your Brand, you'll stay with the brand all the way, and some say FOREVER Canon's having a gila-gila sale now..so the prices will get some discount. Certainly the NEX-3!DSLR picture quality in a compact size! But controls might be a bit irritating/annoying |
