QUOTE(Tony Stark @ Nov 24 2010, 02:58 AM) i would recommend the 50mm 1.8 lens, which is a cheap lens, but to me is a very wonderful lens. and about flashes, me myself im using a nissin 622. a third party lens. and i dont know much about nikon flashes. im very sorry but as for me, the nissin still works like a charm Thx again. Will look into these two items. Thx alot for your help/advice btw, googled the 50mm 1.8 lens but read that the AF does not work on the D3100... Which is why I said Sony A33 is better as there is AF motor in the body, therefore 50mm F1.8 can be used with AF still ~.~ Try Sb600 for Nikon flash/Sb900 if budget allows

QUOTE(night @ Nov 22 2010, 12:39 PM) Type of camera/lens/accesories : DSLR Budget: RM3.5k - RM4k Your Location: Klang / KL Preferable brand : Nikon Type of photography u want to do : Scene, Portrait and landscape Any specific models in mind? : Nikon D90 Any specific features u want? : I would want my camera to be able to zoom far and near with one single lens due to travelling purposes. Do enlighten me on this matter. What would be your best advice. Prior to my previous post, I have decided to go with Nikon model. Would you guys recommend me to go with either Nikon D90 or Nikon 5000. Can't afford to go with D7000 due to budget constraint. Since the package comes with 18-105mm lens, I decided to purchase another lens. And one of the forummer here recommend me to get a 55-300. What model of lens would you advice me. Thanks bro for your time and effort. Still new in DSLR. This post has been edited by night: Nov 24 2010, 10:22 AM

(duhh..surely u know this already ) wut im trying to say is, if ur budget is rm4k, add abit more, and get the D7k. its worth it. the 1080p HD movie mode, higher ISO setup, tougher body, new AF system (that's all i can think of). it may cost u abit more, but its definitely worth the money. atleast that's wut i heard. but if u still going with the D90, its really up to u bro. its ur money, its ur choice. make a wise one

Total up is about RM5.6k. I'll have to save a little bit longer if I were to grab the Nikon D7000. Thanks alot bro for the input. Have audition the D7000 and I love it alot. What's stopping me from buying is the price.
