See all those camera spec also headache already..

Haih... In my mind just Lx-5 , G12 and Nex-3

Just choose one for me? If not I rather save my money go take back Lx-3 enough. Faint a...

Main concern of taking photo of my puppies. They keep move around. I would much prefer shutter speed. In a fast shutter speed, which can get a better quality photo?

not sure about the price, but can have a look at nikon p7000 and canon s95. both are not water resistant/drop resistant though.

hey there, im not so good either. but just wanna state my opinion. if ur budget is tight, im suggesting the nikon D3100, which is cheap. u can get it at rm1999 full set if im not wrong. or go with the sony SLT a55. its around rm2590 with kit lens, or if ur budget is flexible, do consider the canon 550D. its around rm2800 with kit lens. either 3 of these are entry level DSLR that offers great deal thumbup.gif

p/s-if u're still unsure, google each one of those to see which one suits u best, or better yet, try them at shops smile.gif

I don't know about Nikon D90, but it says 60D is an upgrade from 50D. However some of the features that 50D owns were removed on 60D - like magnesium alloy body, micro AF adjustment. However 60D got video recording feature that 50D do not possess. I would say depends on your need, both will just do extremely fine.  smile.gif
Oh I see, but then i scare the 60D's LCD easy spoilt, because it is Vari-angle LCD monitor
and so far, this is also new DSLR. any bad or good thing abt that?

I have an Olympus SP700, but I think it doesn't suit me as I always take near objects which aperture is important for me. But, its aperture is unchangeable.

Definitely the P7000 as it is a "high end PnS with manual controls" similar to that of a Canon G12.

But la, better to choose either a Canon S95 or Lumix LX5 tongue.gif

I have only tried the P100 and not much to compare. But I must say that this model is good enough for entry level. But don't expect results by using this camera since they have their own limitation as well.

If you do not mind, Sony A33 performs quite well although you need 2 add another 2-- to your budget.

you should know that D3100 has no AF motor at its body.. Therefore, lens need to have AF or you need MF all the way biggrin.gif

i would recommend the 50mm 1.8 lens, which is a cheap lens, but to me is a very wonderful lens. and about flashes, me myself im using a nissin 622. a third party lens. and i dont know much about nikon flashes. im very sorry but as for me, the nissin still works like a charm smile.gif
