If you do not mind, Sony A33 performs quite well although you need 2 add another 2-- to your budget.

if ur budget is tight, with all the models u state there, i think ur best bet wud be to go for the D3100. its packed with new features as well.

i would recommend the 50mm 1.8 lens, which is a cheap lens, but to me is a very wonderful lens. and about flashes, me myself im using a nissin 622. a third party lens. and i dont know much about nikon flashes. im very sorry but as for me, the nissin still works like a charm

Which is why I said Sony A33 is better as there is AF motor in the body, therefore 50mm F1.8 can be used with AF still ~.~


Try Sb600 for Nikon flash/Sb900 if budget allows
