QUOTE(chiahau @ Nov 24 2010, 02:24 AM) If you do not mind, Sony A33 performs quite well although you need 2 add another 2-- to your budget. Thanks but I think prefer Nikon/Canon. Don't know why but just do. QUOTE(Tony Stark @ Nov 24 2010, 01:05 AM) if ur budget is tight, with all the models u state there, i think ur best bet wud be to go for the D3100. its packed with new features as well. Thanks. Any extras to recommend if I am getting the camera? What flash is good if I am mainly taking pics of people/baby. Thx again This post has been edited by teelim: Nov 24 2010, 02:40 AM

QUOTE(Tony Stark @ Nov 24 2010, 02:58 AM) i would recommend the 50mm 1.8 lens, which is a cheap lens, but to me is a very wonderful lens. and about flashes, me myself im using a nissin 622. a third party lens. and i dont know much about nikon flashes. im very sorry but as for me, the nissin still works like a charm Thx again. Will look into these two items. Thx alot for your help/advice btw, googled the 50mm 1.8 lens but read that the AF does not work on the D3100... QUOTE(chiahau @ Nov 24 2010, 03:39 AM) Which is why I said Sony A33 is better as there is AF motor in the body, therefore 50mm F1.8 can be used with AF still ~.~ Try Sb600 for Nikon flash/Sb900 if budget allows I see. Thanks. Will consider this model too...
