i am surveying to get between D90 and D7000...but the more i survey, the more i get poisoned

D7000 has been improve overall compare to D90, do you think the diff of $ worth for D7000? shooting is just my hobby and not my job.
my concern will be more on the camera capability in coming few years time than the value of $.
Please advise...thx..

I think you should be more concerned on what lenses you will be buying, instead of the bodies

well, no DSLR can do video more than 29 minutes 59seconds straight as it will be classified under 'video recorder' under EU laws and the taxes will be higher.

if you prefer manual controls then lx5 or g12..

more auto mode can get NEX-3 or S95..

but IQ and high ISO performance wise NEX-3 wins all.

u mean manual / auto control ?? ( erm semi? sometime auto, sometime manual?? got such thing mou??)
for nite mode, nex3 flash good enough?? (i used few sony digital cam their nite mode )

Nex 3 is quite good actually.

err..have u even touched and seen those cameras before?

g12 and lx5 got a lot of buttons n dials to set your settings to take your shots..

but NEX-3..the settings all located inside the menus so auto mode(which adjusts all the settings for your) works better..

for night mode..people dun usually use flash la..but nex 3 got this handheld twilight mode which makes night time pictures taking very nice

what about sony a290 which is sell at seng heng

image quality and high iso noise handling wise, yes NEX-3 is better. but if you want to learn how to adjust those settings, its possible in NEX-3, but a bit troublesome, compared to g12.

its comes with a flash, but its not built in. you have to snap it on.
