Nikon p7000 got some focusing error ..try to use the nikon p7000 first ..G12 no idea

D7000 for the win. 4.5 with kitlens..
It should be good enough 4 you to learn..

Or the other hand, 60D can allow you to spend the extra cash on a speedlite. Which is another pro too. Depends on your needs.

I thought A33's body is around 1.8k.. Means you need 2 loan someone's lens lo XD

hey guys, im thinking of getting canon g12. should i? I like to take pictures, i've only had a mobilephone for a camera in the past.

is the g12 an overkill for me, who takes casual photos, i dun see myself taking extraordinarily creative pictures for the masses anytime soon or at all.

a canon PnS (powershot 300 or something) i found cost 1.2k and the g12 is priced at 1620. worth the rm400 extra?

up to you la. Both has its pro n con. D3100 lacks AF motor in body. 1000D is the most basic canon line up. Sony pawns both in terms of specs, but since you cant afford, might as well get nikon n upgrade later lo.

if you like more controls, can go for G12.

otherwise sony nex 3 is very good option too.
