Plan to start my 1st DSLR, need advice from gentlemen, should I go for 60D w/ 18-135 or 60D w/ 18-200 or even 550D w/ 18-135 and reserve money for other len?
60D is such a nice camera. Tried it and absolutely love it! I really love the size, feel and the weight of it. 550D feels like a toy in comparison
I think, with 2 of your advice, I am almost decided to get 60D. Yes u r right, I mean swivel LCD. Sorry for not been used the correct word.
So, the last decision to make either go with 18-200 kitlens for easy travel or 18-55 + 55-250 for better quality picture? If I understand well, the kitlens from canon 18-200 is with USM, any 3rd party Lens (55-250) with similar performance and better budget to recommend? ( in case I decided to go on 18-55 + 55-250)
i dont know much about the nikon tho but i must say its features are impressive. if to compare body build quality, the nikon has the edge. not to forget the nikon also can boost up to 25600 iso.
but the canon also has its advantages, flip screen is one of em'. anyways, if u havent invested in any models yet, i suggest the D7000.
but as for me, i would go for canon 60D since i have some lenses and speed lights from that brand
just my humble opinion though and im no pro, so better wait for some pros to give u more advice.
can u comment a bit on the kit len, as the body price different, i can only have the 18-105 if i take D7000, is it a good lens and worth to spend compare to 60D's 18-200. i am thinking to hold only one lens for travel and no plan to change len during the whole trip.
D7000 comes it a good kit lens. Its nothign special compared to those more expensive lens, but can hold its own against em. If you do not intend 2 change lens, might as well settle with the D7000. It works fine and the magnesium alloy body is such a killer >">
seem like magnesium alloy and it is 39AF and video continue AF is the key point to make hard decision to give up 18-200 lens.
