Type of camera/lens/accesories : semi-pro / prosumer

Budget: Below RM900

Your Location: KL / Selangor

Preferable brand : Not specific

Type of photography u want to do : Sceneries, Nature, Activities, Group Pictures

Any specific models in mind? : Nikon L110, Fujifilm S2500, Olympus SP600uz (any other suggestions)

Any specific features u want? : Nothing much, must be durable and picture quality.

Hi, currently using a lumix pocket camera, thinking of upgrading to semi-

pro(is it called semi-pro ? Haha), Considering between Fuji S2500, Olym

SP600 or Nikon L110.

Any idea which one would be better ? Any advises ? Photo quality should be good. Thanks.

does anyone know the price for Canon S95? I just bought an LX-5, but some said that S95 is better and for a lower price at that, thanks if u can share some information
*
For true portability = S95
For ability to zoom and autofocus when video recording = LX5
For prestige & resale value = LX5 tongue.gif
Everything else, both about the same.

Just my two cents worth. smile.gif

You may also like to refer to this easy-to-understand review.

BTW, I'm going for LX5 cos I need the video features above.

A55 XD

well A33 has an edge in video recording compared 2 D3100. Other than that, nothing fancy much except 4 the EVF.

Yeah, you have point there... But basically, if i buy nikon, i need to invest as well on the lens, right? Which nikon will suit me? Or do you have other brand?
i'll only use the camera during travelling, attending events , or visiting interesting places only...

As a beginner, i think u can just buy 1 body with the lense which come with it 1st. When u pro enough, then can slowly upgrade lense. If u want not bad specs dslr, u can take a look for Canon 550D or Nikon D90, this 2 i think not bad. Or else, u can wait for Nikon D7000, new model...
