anyone knows why my Nikon D90 (bought recently).... occasionally i cannot take photos and on the screen, the F number is missing... it shows "F--"... i have to keep switching on and off several times until the F number appears... is it spoilt?

Bad contact point of the lens and body. That's the 18-105 correct? That lens using plastic mount, so be gentle on it  . |

hey do you guys change any settings for the picture mode? my fren advice me to bump up the sharpness a few notch to get better quality pictars. i noticed that it's helping a bit. do you guys do this and other settings as well?

Sorry people. Do remove me from the user list. I'm no longer a Nikon D90 user. Sold it off already. But will continue to support as it's a great camera.
