thx bro. it was at wedding actually. i found a gurl steal my attention dat day and want to share her smile~!

u can use thousand of free softwere like picasa, photoscape and etc. or u can use adobe PS, LR NZX. dont just simple on brightness and contrass only. control the highlight, light, shadow and dark. add some shadow and black point can enhance ur detail but becareful. dont overdone coz u might loss the details

spooky, depends on ur ceiling color also. if it using blue color, then wud be cold. plust the speedlite color a bit differ. SB900 more bluish then SB600

erk i also always no eye contact. so it not be potrait but candid photo~! coz here u lack of communication between subject and u. for me i called it candid potrait coz i always be 2nd photographer only. hardly to get eye contact

Added on December 16, 2009, 3:03 amspeedlight for sure. 2nd decent tripod, then lens. tripod very useful when to take landscape or potrait. event reli need speedlight (i think every scence except landscape) lens is refer to what u need. tele lens, low F lens, UWA. but kit lens always the best lens for learning process (atleast for me la)

i agreed with u bro. 1st picture is not sharp enuff. plus i also thnk its not enuff DOF. but still run out of idea how to take photo at night. sigh
for 2nd pict i cant comment more as it takes by my friends who want to test D90. but it not the gurl move a lot i guess. its the cameraman move alot. people kept on pushing2 to get a good spot.
