To keep in mind that price for ICI paint is depend on colour selection and believed the RM76 is the base, hence you need to compared it with what colour you plan to have, than do the comparision.
As the shop (Puchong) offer base was RM79 for Pentalite / Pearl Glo RM91 / Ligh & Space RM 100 / and Supreme RM110, but end up due to colour of selection, some are higher.

Hi, I need help from sifu sifu here. I wish to paint my master bedroom but I dunno which paint i shld buy. Since i choose to use ICI product, I hope sifu sifu here can help me to solve some of my confusion here...

1. what ICI paint to use for plaster ceiling? (maxilite or pentalite classic or pentalite easyclean) ?

2. Do i need to sealer/primer the plaster ceiling 1st before painting? If yes, which product shld i used? (Dulux Alkali Resisting Interior Wall Sealer or Dulux Adhesion Promoting Interior Wall Primer or Glidden Wall Sealer 368)

My contractor suggested Colourland Easy Care paint for my condo interior. Matt finishes and easy to clean. Also has antimould and antifungus effects. Anybody has experience using this Colourland paint?

Meaning, I should choose the color first, then go to different shops to check pricing right? I actually love the antibacterial paint but damn expensive

The most expensive now will be ICI Pure, which possiable up to 5L for RM200. Example: You see some colour you like on ICI Pure, but instead of Pure product, you could ask them to check whether available on Pentalite...than this will help reduce your $$$ but without those special function ...

I've asked this question before but can't seem to find my post. Just wanted to find out whether anyone has used Shell paints before?

Considering to use for my roof since it's bitumen based.

what is "Shell paints"?

It's house paint by Shell (as in petrol station that Shell). I've seen on their website that they have for interior, exterior and also some others.

Am considering the paint for roof tiles actually, as its bitumen based and slightly more waterproof than normal paint.

Just want to know if anyone has used their product before.

I just go to ask, the ICI will increase from 6% to 12%.

I have quote on below, what do u think ?

1. Nippon 5100 wall sealer 20L RM 175
* I need to use for plaster ceiling/ceiling and wall, i checked 5100 is for exterior use.
should i go for 5200 for interior use for wall repaint and then Hi-Bond wall sealer for plaster ceiling?

2. ICI Pentalite Classic 5L RM82 for indoor wall
* I need 10x5L, u think we can buy 3x20L?

3. Nippon odourlite soft matt 5L RM120
* for door and grill

4. Nippon Perfect white 5L RM80 for plaster ceiling

According to the shop, they only have 5L for all abv except the wall sealer 20L.

For ICI, it depend what colour your choice. Some common colour will have 20L example
Pentalite White - 1501
the shop should able to other the 20L if you not urgent.

I got my ICI Glidden Wall Sealer 20L for RM170

RM5-10 not much different, save the time and petrol.

for wood and metal, which 1 look better? matt, low sheen...? i don't like the gross type.

Bro, is aluminium frame paintable? Let's say with spray or brush, boleh ke? if yes, what type of paint should use and what's the best method?

Flintkote is available in Malaysia. Some hardware shops carry them. I use Flintkote Ultra for my waterproofing.

Just want to know how u all removed the existing paint on normal room wood door/frame and the main wood door have the texture.

Will sand paper will spoil the wood surface and texture? I found my wood door have a lot pop up mark....so wonder can use fine sand paper to smooth it?
