I have a few cans of unopened Nippon Paint Satin Glo for sale at dirt cheap prices. Bought too much and got excess now.

Nippon only offers three range of product at 20%..

If not mistaken, is wheatherbond, satin glo and gross finish...

means any color? they say is basic color only.

If the paint i plan to bought is not the basic color then i no need to rush buy it lo...
cos i plan to paint on middle/end of OCT only...buy now can keep it 1 month long?

any one know what sealer i shud used for interior wall and ceilings? the ori walls already painted with cheaper paint from devoleper. can be nippon or jotun sealer.

I just get the middle range sealer ICI Glidden which can be use for interior + Exteriod, costed RM170@20L

Anybody know JB area where can get ICI Pentalite 20L?? Went to 3 shops, only 5L available... >.<

Only selective colour have 20L, because it use for Project only.THe shop should able to advise you, because when I purchased 5L x 4 with same colour, they inform me whether want to get 20L because it was cheaper (example 1501 -White ). When I ask for 20L for 2205 - FairLady, they said only 5L.

Hear from the hardware shop that ICI will increase the price next few day...anyone getting the same info or just the shop try to bullshit?

So the 20L paint is pretty cheap huh? Do you think 20L would be enough for a 1000sf condo? Was thinking of having dual tones in my home. hurmm...

PS: Anyone has a painter to recommend? Hopefully cheap and can get things done quick

20L to covered your condo with dual tones? Kidding, except the contractor adding ton of water on it.

the bigger the volume of the paint will be cheaper than small one.

Example:sealer ICI Glidden. If 5L it cost RM60, but 20L only RM170. So if you purchase 4 (5L) x RM60 = RM240, where you saved RM70. This same goes to paint if they have higher volume like 10, 20L

ahhh ICI Glidden is the cheap one huh? Which one would be the one where we can easily wipe things off the wall? im a total newbie in paints. haha

I only get Glidden Sealer, as it almost the cheaper compared to ICI Dulux / Nippon / Jotum...

For Paint, I go for ICI, but some other like Nippon too. It all depend on you and also budgets..ICI / Nippon almost on high end price.

What is recommended for plaster ceiling painting? I am thinking to use ICI dulux Pentalite, but there is Pentalite classic and Pentalite easy clean, what is the diff???

Or should I use others?

For Plaster Ceiling, I'm using ICI Dulux Pentalite Classic- White. RM280 for 20L
You could check the different between CLassic and Easy Clean on ICI WEB
But the shop not recommending me to use, because after paint it like water type (look not solid) * This is what the shop saw.

You may want to consider using other brand like Nippon / Jotum on the white paint too

I was told that Jotun, Nippon & ICI are same range but in terms of pricing, Jotun is the most expensive, then ICI, then Nippon.

I got quoted for as follows:-
Jotun strax - 5L at RM82, Sealer 20L at RM178
ICI Pentalite - classic and easy clean - 5L at RM76, Sealer at RM140 (forgot 18L or 20L)
Nippon easy wash range - 18L at RM225, Sealer at RM140 (not sure 18 or 20L)

Prices are after discount also. Anybody found cheaper paint elsewhere?
