My contractor also indicated paint for my whole house will cost around 5-6K too but it is using ICI lol...

SHould I also get in quotation from "mypainter"?

No bad...any photo that captured direct hit by sun light or white light?

So, for Painting of whole DS included clear of the old paint / smooth / after contraction will need budget of 5-7K included paint? Or ?

Maybe someone could shared out if he / she have latest price list or best price?

For skim coat almost the standard across, for my 22 x 75 house, they charge 2.5K, but you could look for Indo which may end up paying 1K+ only (30-40 cents per feet)
Your 3K excluding paint, right?

I'm been advice by a ICI consultant better not use "Maxilite" for the base coat, is it will impact the quality of the paint and may not able to suitained 5 years as descripted on the warrenty but suggest me to use "Wall Sealer or Primer" as a base coat...
anyone expirence this?

I just get the middle range sealer ICI Glidden which can be use for interior + Exteriod, costed RM170@20L

Only selective colour have 20L, because it use for Project only.THe shop should able to advise you, because when I purchased 5L x 4 with same colour, they inform me whether want to get 20L because it was cheaper (example 1501 -White ). When I ask for 20L for 2205 - FairLady, they said only 5L.

Hear from the hardware shop that ICI will increase the price next few day...anyone getting the same info or just the shop try to bullshit?

20L to covered your condo with dual tones? Kidding, except the contractor adding ton of water on it.

the bigger the volume of the paint will be cheaper than small one.

Example:sealer ICI Glidden. If 5L it cost RM60, but 20L only RM170. So if you purchase 4 (5L) x RM60 = RM240, where you saved RM70. This same goes to paint if they have higher volume like 10, 20L

I only get Glidden Sealer, as it almost the cheaper compared to ICI Dulux / Nippon / Jotum...

For Paint, I go for ICI, but some other like Nippon too. It all depend on you and also budgets..ICI / Nippon almost on high end price.

Good like and hope it covered all your need without price increase.

For Plaster Ceiling, I'm using ICI Dulux Pentalite Classic- White. RM280 for 20L
You could check the different between CLassic and Easy Clean on ICI WEB
But the shop not recommending me to use, because after paint it like water type (look not solid) * This is what the shop saw.

You may want to consider using other brand like Nippon / Jotum on the white paint too

To keep in mind that price for ICI paint is depend on colour selection and believed the RM76 is the base, hence you need to compared it with what colour you plan to have, than do the comparision.
As the shop (Puchong) offer base was RM79 for Pentalite / Pearl Glo RM91 / Ligh & Space RM 100 / and Supreme RM110, but end up due to colour of selection, some are higher.
I purcahse the ICI Glidden Wall Sealer (Code 15368) 20L with RM 170

The most expensive now will be ICI Pure, which possiable up to 5L for RM200. Example: You see some colour you like on ICI Pure, but instead of Pure product, you could ask them to check whether available on Pentalite...than this will help reduce your $$$ but without those special function ...
