QUOTE(CarlVlad @ Feb 2 2010, 03:13 PM) This is odd, been flunctuating from 40Mbps to this Is this my connection's problem or on speedtest's side ? If you want to have a real and actual download speed? Just download any files hosted in Malaysia, and take alook how fast you manage to get, or install a bandwidth meter application. Don't expected or depends so much on Speedtest.net result. Cheers This post has been edited by Acrisius: Feb 2 2010, 03:41 PM

I prefer 218.111 than 124 or 115. 218 always gave me full speed to my US dedicated server and having much lower ping throughout US region.
But 124 or 115 pool, does not perform that well, the latency keep changing all the time, usually high during peak hours and speed was not so consistent to my US dedicated server.
It is funny that for TM. Every different IP Pool had their own weak and strong node. Bad routing network management, not standardize.

QUOTE(MX510 @ Mar 13 2010, 12:46 PM) [attachmentid=1480579] Anyway a picture tells thousand of words IP 115.
That's why every different IP pool had their own good and bad node throughout the world. Anyway 218.

Nothing special to get higher capping speed on your ADSL port. Because, it still will cap your speed through your Streamyx username Good thing is that you able to reach top notch of 4Mbps. But it won't go beyond 5Mbps stable. Even I requested to have 6Mbps capped on my port. Max speed still will be 4Mbps

That's sucks, mean our old plan "Streamyx Combo 4mbps" was more expensive than Unifi VIP5. (5mbps).
Speechless, as expected. TM always bad in managing from network core to their packages, pricing, and etc.

QUOTE(eternity4av @ May 3 2010, 10:27 PM) erm is there any 4mbps user that face major drop on their snr margin? Line condition always tight with few factors. Normally the quality of your line, connectors, Splitter, Number of users connected to same DSLAM. Plus it will be drop when it comes to peak hours, where most of users connected under same DSLAM was using high load of traffic.
