I will go dual loop next time. To have integrated res+pump is a huge boon to space saving.

EDIT:
Ahhhh... found what I need!

This will have to come in during my next worklog though. My PC budget this year has finished sad.gif

The murdermod cases are really nice but I think if we have the tools, we can design and cut something similar (laser cutting required). Problem is, I don't even know where do we have good laser cutting at a good price biggrin.gif

Quick updates!

Managed to properly POST with everything on, so I am pretty sure I did not short circuit anything.

I jumped straight from 3.2GHz to 4.0Ghz.

Result is very encouraging. Idle temp is 35C, load temp while priming is at 57C. Superb! Previously when I was on TRUE120, the temp easily rose to 70++ when on load.

New problem: Chipset is running too hot!!!
Another problem: Mosfet is even hotter!!!!!

for the new problem, it's time to change the mentioned items to a better cooling solution, you can opt either to go wc or air cooling like Deepcool stuff and enzotech. biggrin.gif

i don't have those chipset and mosfets wb, still can oc'ed with good temp.. laugh.gif
even without it you can still oc ler bro, only if you have a proper cooling solution, those areas will have a better temp than nothing. biggrin.gif

lol...IMO chipsets n mosfet would only reach dangerous level of temperature only when u oc-ed ur rig extremely...much like in those oc competition...but even they almost didnt use anything fancy to cool their chips or mosfet...(correct me if im wrong but ive seen some use dry ice on the chips...but not on the mosfet...)

but IMO this is because they dun care about the life expectancy of their rig...thats y they do that...

but for ur case...IMO i dont think u want to reach the extreme level of OC-ing...maybe oc a lil bit right?n since when u oc ur hardware...u basically decrease its lifespan...so its just a matter of choice really if u want to put a wb on the chips n mosfet...u can either kill ur motherboard slowly or extremely slow...

n 1 more thing...IMO(no offence to any1)...wc-ing chips n mosfet is really a waste of money...unless u fully utilizes it...n some ppl wc their chips n mosfet to make their rig look impressive or to make the rig TOTALLY silent...with almost no fans inside the case...n in some cases just to simply buy...

There's still another item I am waiting from Clawhammer smile.gif It's a surprise.

Proc and mobo will remain until mid next year. I will upgrade to i7 with WC mobo smile.gif

Don't expect superb cable management though. I am not using murdermod sleeving tongue.gif
