Yes, the lonely tray is mine smile.gif I have put it back into the casing though.

Sorry for no update, I am having compatibility issue with the Apogee XT. Its blocked by a row of capacitors on the mobo.

If any of you is willing to trade your GTZ with my brand spanking new XT, I am more than willing to do it.

Just a quick update on what I have done.

I have spray painted the case all black. It's quite scratch resistant, but there are still parts of the case where it is still scratchable, like the mirror finish mobo tray.

Steps taken:
1. Sand the surfaces with 1000 grit sand paper.
2. Spray with undercoat. I tried using both type of undercoat: gray and dark chocolate (anti-rust). I suggest you use the gray one. Its easier to apply. As usual, do a few thin layers for best result. 10 minutes interval is best between application.
3. Spray with flat black. Same technique, few thin layers with 10 minutes interval between each application.

A few ideas sprang up when looking at the case, I will let you guys know.

Good news peeps! Apparently there is clearance for the capacitors, but less than 1mm. Managed to slip through a piece of paper so there's definitely clearance for them smile.gif

Pictars coming soon!

I am really sorry if anyone here is expecting my worklog to progress any faster. My full time work; as I have said over and over again every time I need to apologize for my lack of time to do anything else; has taken the best of me.

Here are some pictars!

This is actually a Gainward HD4850 Golden Sample. Shiny core, after cleaned with Arctic Cleaner. I did fit it with MCW60R complete with compression fittings, but forgot to take a pic.

Apogee XT! With compression fittings biggrin.gif Just so you know, I am using 775 back plate from my old TRUE120. So yeah, they are compatible with each other. And one more thing, I switched the inlet port to allow use of the compression on one side. It is possible to not switch the inlet port if you use 2 45degrees rotaries (both inlet and outlet port).

The row of capacitors I have been telling you guys. Ridiculous clearance I tell you!

I reached ModernoPC around 7.30pm, I only have enough time to fit the mobo. Notice the flat black mobo tray! Clawhammer, I will sell you the case for RM2000 whistling.gif This seems to be a new version of TJ07, its a little different then the older version.

That's a very shiny Gainward there biggrin.gif The XT clearance on the board is excellent without problems and sure, RM2000 for case plus all the water cooling stuffs? smile.gif Thanks Nik!

RM2k including watercooling parts??? Cannot la bro, die la like this. I spray painted that case alone; Zam was busy the whole day assembling rigs, Adiel was away for the whole day. Can seriously die. It was magical I finished everything in one day. After everything was done, I couldn't even pop a can of Coke!

Delta has the most CFM. But it's noisy as hell.

2nd best is the Scyte Ultra Kaze's.

3rd place is probably Panaflo.
For me, i am using Gentle Typhoon AP15 because it's sufficiently enough CFM for my TFC Xchanger 360 because i don't need the extra cooling of the higher cfm fans, because the AP15 offers enough performance and isn't too noisy for that CFM level.
Noise blocker = very quiet low speed fans.
very High and ultra fast fans for big radiators, get Delta, Scyte Ultra Kaze's or Panaflo.

Medium to high you can get Gentle Typhoon

Super slow to low get Noise Blockers.
Thats my opinion
