Hi folks,

Not really a full blown mod or anything. I just got myself a TJ07 from ModernoPC, and I have been thinking to spray the internal to flat black. After that, I will need to put all the hardware in including the water cooling parts smile.gif Kindly be informed that this work is done in ModernoPC's shop. Moderno was kind enough to let me borrow the tools and space I need to complete the assembly (yes, Moderno, I will return the favor shortly tongue.gif ).

Okay, here is my hardware list:

CPU
Intel C2D E7400

Motherboard
Gigabyte EP45-UD3R

Graphics card
Gainward 4850 512MB Golden Sample

RAM
G-Skill DDR2-1066 2x2GB

Power Supply
Silverstone ST50F

Storage
WD 640GB Green

Sound card
Onboard! (my sound card crapped on me)

Casing
Silverstone TJ07

Water Cooling
Swiftech Apogee XT CPU water block
Swiftech MCW60-R V2 GPU water block
Swiftech MCP-655
Swiftech MCR-320
EK 250 reservoir
Bitspower Compression fittings 1/2" 3/4"
Tygon R3603 1/2" 3/4" tubings

I know my hardware is... outdated tongue.gif , but I am spending my PC budget for this year on this WC project.

I will take some pictures and post my sketch of the WC planning smile.gif Right now, its more like a teaser tongue.gif

Meanwhile, any recommendations and/or feedback are welcomed smile.gif Credits will be mentioned on this first post.

Credits
ModernoPC - for the continued support and patience biggrin.gif
Clawhammer - for getting me the water cooling parts

be carefull with while modding the TJ07.. RM1000 of alu =(

wah, WC spec so high end

but using E7400 >.<? MCR 220 should be enough if ur cooling the cpu only, save space.. could always add another 120 rad for the GC if single setup..

You are right, MCR220 is enough, but its okay to still use a triple tongue.gif

Core i9 next year maybe? biggrin.gif

I missed something. I did order a GPU block biggrin.gif I will edit the first post.

Can, but you will have to get down to ModernoPC. Sanding will take one whole day smile.gif (depending on how big is your case)

Spraying a TJ07 is easier considering that you can take everything apart smile.gif

What case do you have?

Thanks, but I might not do the sleeving. I sleeved my PSU before, way back in 2003. It was a painful experience for me. 1 year later, the PSU blew and I had to throw away my hard work. So, no, no more sleeving for me biggrin.gif

Full block GTX285? I am using AMD 4850 mate biggrin.gif

Reason why I decided to go with MCW-60 is for future proofing. If I get an FC block, I will have to get another one when I upgrade my GPU. I dont have that much money every year wanna buy GPU water block biggrin.gif

Not sure if thats gonna be easy since the case cant be taken apart.

No lah, I dont work there. Just that its easier to do modding work there. And its nice to be surrounded by expensive PC hardware, haha tongue.gif

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Nov 26 2009, 12:03 AM)
Agreed. Your WC should be usable for future upgrades as well  nod.gif

Can post pic? I am curious how it looks  notworthy.gif

Yea, I will get the pics. No worries smile.gif

Here is one part of the TJ07 that has been sanded. This was sanded using a 1000 grit sandpaper. 800 grit would give a rougher surface (better?).

That's all for now. I will be busy this weekend. There might be more updates next week as I will have the time to spray the internals. I will go more into details on the spraying steps.
