Just wanna ask... Has anybody experience a quota upgrade or somesort? Coz I was looking at mine and it seems that the usage quota was still a lot even after streaming a lot of videos and music. And by a lot I mean I watch online tv episodes and in one sitting I watch at least 5 episodes. Not to mention I also download a few stuffs from torrent sites.

I'm not sayin whos at fault here but I wonder if he realy wouldn't know tat the base station is not active in the 1st place or just tryin to mislead me. yeah I can cancel it off but ill hv to go all the way to KL cus the local resellers here r prty sad, they dun even hv a demo set, let alone handlin account termination.

been 2 weeks now everytime I askd for estimated date of activation they will just reply with duno or very soon. know P1 is expandin but how long I'm still hv to wait ? 3 months ?  vmad.gif

Hi, I'd register the P1 Wimax yesterday and got the wiggy package, but the signal in my hostel (Kolej 17, UTM Skudai) is not very good.

however, last 2 years, i had been using the old desktop modem and got a decent connection.

I had talk to your agent using the chat function in the website and told o reposition the modem which i'd already did and only getting 1 bar.

is there any chance to increase the range of the wimax signal?

I have only one thing to say about P1. Terrible! Never ever subscribe to P1. unstable connection and horrible customer service. I was not able to use the Internet for more than a month so I called the helpline and they couldn't care less! Am now scouting for others! I'm pretty sure all other providers are better than P1. Never ever subscribe or you will regret!

i hope that i can use other service beside p1.... but i am force to..... the flat that i am staying now does not have any telephone line so force to use p1. at the 1st and 2nd day woooho actually damn satisfied 2.2mb on 1st day and 4.1mb on the 2nd day the 3rd day drop to 1.5mb and 4th to the 6th day(today) only getting 300kbps - 800kbps. When back to P1 HQ and the customer service ppl told me my area is the 2nd highest congested area lol thumbup.gif he did even ask me to cancel the service since i am still in the cooling period. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif for the person who serve me. Come on if i have other choice i would not have been using P1 but i am now force to pay RM139 for a fake 4.8mbps that is actually running only 300 - 800kbps and that is what i can do to keep me online. P1Wimax better launch your external antenna modem which you put up in roofs.

Then probably you could provide good signals to your customers especially those who subscribe to higher bandwidth packages.

Wireless broadband is all about signal strength.

well my signal strength is good green bar a bit more can reach full signal. I think its the communication tower that cant support too many user in a time. btw i am on 16th floor. The Customer Support team not sure is it true but he told me the higher u are the weaker the signal...........

P1,please follow up my case IMMEDIATELY! My report no. C370978.I was told that someone from P1 will contact me since 8 Jan,but none of you contact me and solve my problem.Your line in my area is poor,apply home pro package,but just got 200~300kbps,sometimes dont even load P1 website.Are you expecting me to pay you RM139 for that speed?
