My advise is to go TMpoint to upgrade regardless of what package...
As u can see, the promotion banner says only add RM5 from 512 to 1M, but when u register online, the price there is still rm88... so to play safe, go TMpoint. Added on November 27, 2009, 11:30 am QUOTE(Zack Styler @ Nov 27 2009, 11:01 AM) Occasional DL and BT, the fastest speed I get is <50kb max, any idea 512 how fast is the download speed? 512bit divide by 8 = 64kBpsbut in reality rarely reach as some dl speed is spared to loading messengers, webpages etc. This post has been edited by LukeMjstc: Nov 27 2009, 11:30 AM |

Yeah overhead so it's really 50-55kBps for 512k line.As u can see, the promotion banner says only add RM5 from 512 to 1M, but when u register online, the price there is still rm88... so to play safe, go TMpoint. Viewing from all the comments, I think a repricing is going to be made... but I don't think the price will be lowered into the same price as the super promo price.. maybe several bucks higher...

If you are using 512kbps - upgrade
Else, don't bother upgrading. 1Mbps, you usually get 1.5mbps (provided DSLAM is capped at above 1mbps), 2mbps, you only get 2mbps. |
