Exactly~ but but~ sigh~ decisions~ decisions~ and its not ez to find a new a700 now~ what about price? does it drop a lot since its getting obselete?
*
RARE things prices wont go down easily hehehe

like the "ancient" beercan tongue.gif

since a700 is like...
the 1st alpha that use cmos sensor..

and I think that its the prototype before the come out with FF a900 and 850
since the button layout and design kinda similar... just the top button layout were changed a bit for the lcd thingy.

from what i see on a700 performance..even newer replacement comes out..it probably with higher MP..and a few more function to ease ur life...so other than the MP,i believe the current a700 should be able to do what the replacement could(well not really if they include liveview)..maybe just a lil bit more troublesome..but i guess since we r so into photography/dslr..troublesome should not be the word inside our dictionary.. =p
*
yeap... the interface make ease for user to do changes without scrolling the menu a lot...
But I never try a550 yet... so don't know much about it...

yet... Congrats Braynumb icon_idea.gif time to search for moar lense ! icon_idea.gif

guys do u thing this bag will ngam2 fit with

A200+kitlen+VG, uwa, 55-200mm, 50mm & flash?

got compartment tu put bateri n charger etc?

suddenly poisoning my blood lol..
*
probably fit... but the bag will look bulky because too much thing inside (you even probably struggle to close the zip tongue.gif)

since if attach tele to body.. for sure need to arrange the camera vertically (lense facing up I guess)

and the risk of lenses bumping each other? (since not much compartment, you probably put 2 lense in 1 slot)

that is what I`m thinking hmm.gif

cheap card reader is slow. Cap ayam..

i got a cap ayam and been suffering for 2 years (i didn't know better) and then I started complaining and complaining and the feedback was to try an alternate card reader. I bought the apacer steno AM400. WOW!!! fast!!

cap ayam 8GB == 40min
apacer 8GB == 4mins (22mb/s)

Added on December 1, 2009, 11:09 ameneloops are best for lazy bastar*s like myself. No need to always charge and it retains power.

Uniross are CRAP (at least those that I have), charge 1day, tomorrow die already.

BTW, I still have a Beercan for sale if anyone is interested. The last guy who wanted / reserved it FFK and I've been lazy to re-advertise it.
*
oh hai myjunk.. tongue.gif

guys ..

what do u think about this picture .. does it look sharp enough for a 1680cz on a700?
*
shutter speed kinda fast... can give 100% crop view on place that you focus?

maybe got problem with you camera I think hmm.gif

later i will post 100% crop view ..

btw, does fast shutter speed (more than 1/500) would affects the sharpness for a picture?

Ksano, what are the reasons u said that might be problem with the camera? ..
*
err well not really..
just recalled about previous user who calibrate the body himself (or is it you? tongue.gif)
maybe I`m confuse between the lens or body problem..

faster shutter speed leads to less shaky picture which is why I said that..
unless you take it at less than 1/30 speed even a shake because of the moving mirror in the body may cause blurry picture, and I think that sony's mirror flip kinda give tiny shake unlike other brand (just my opinion)
just like the logical term that people use for shutter speed: shutter speed> focal length to avoid blurry pictures.
and so.. the faster shutter speed.. the better chance of avoiding shaky picture

if you use other lens and had better picture produced...
for sure its the lens problem right?? biggrin.gif

is it focus on the ground between the armpit? tongue.gif

Even till now.. I still not get used with my a700 yet doh.gif not much time to test 1 by 1 setting
