What is the status in service status? Did the gprs, edge or 3g turns to capital letter? EG: edge -> EDGE

Its EDGE still. I was on blackberry unlimited 58 internet but asked them to cancel and activate blackberry.

What does your edge or 3g shows? If they're in big caps eg; EDGE or 3G then its activated! Also check your mobile network settings..network technology > GSM/UMTS

Have you also called Digi?

It's holiday week. Probably it might take some time to activate your service. Try call up digi CS and check with them.

If its EDGE with big caps your on BIS already! If ur on BIS Unlimited, why did u had it cancelled and activate Blackberry. BIS Unlimited is Blackberry Internet Service..

No i was on internet unlimited which is 58 per month with no blackberry services included. It says edge all small letters. I call up CS they dont even know how to help me those ladies, they said they'll get a team to call me back.

Ic..try OCS D'Chat..if not wait till Monday k..tell them u just need to activate BIS line ONLY!

Btw, BIS configurations are automatic..no settings required.

I go to network settings it has 3G & 2G on, when i set 3G alone it wont get a signal at all.

Yes, only certain areas have got 3G..put it at 2G only gives you EDGE

I have edge on now, but im trying to connect to msn messenger etc it says DATA SERVICES UNAVAILABLE.

If ur using a BB phone you will definitely requires BIS, without BIS most apps will not work incld BB messeber, browser, facebook and etc.

I was just telling you that BIS configuration is automatic the moment its activated, so basically you do not required to chg any settings or whatsoever

Ok, but i dont know why is it that i cant get my BIS activated, ive called them 3 times now and none of them can answer me.

Maybe its a holiday week la..i got mine activated within hours! No choice la..either u wait till MOnday or log in to Digi OCS D'Chat for enquiry

Already did, they said submitted to network department and ill get a call within 24 hours.

Ok i got a call for the network department, they say they have all my settings on their side like PIN and IMEI number that means somehow i have been connected to blackberry server and sent that info. But why cant i get the big EDGE they also have no explanation. Anyone here can help?

Bro, try resetting your device by doing a battery pull which is to pull out your battery! Hope that helps..

I just got Bold and currently using Digi prepaid. Before this i just pop the sim and can use the data with no problem. But with BB, it seems not working. Am I missing a settting or is it because Digi just do not allow me to do so?

U need Blackberry Internet Service aka BIS to work on BB phones..w/o BIS your Bold is just an ordinary phone (Calls & SMS only)

It is almost 9pm, so no luck for me tonite. I m a student thus unlimited data was just rm30 before on iphone
