Went to test drive and placed booking today...

Generally,

~iVtec engine sound is louder than vtec (quite loud actually with no radio on)...hmm....
~iVtec 's paddle shift is better than Vtec as it's 'real' peddle shift...(it will no actomatically shift for you)
~NHC suspension is harder than older model? hmm...need to borrow my bother car to test again
~NHC body is lower than older model

Drove a very short distance for test drive only...

Well, to flog the FC dead horse again, for a person like me that does 100% city driving, I'm resigned to the fact that I'll only be able to get max 330km for a full tank of 33litres.

Not complaining though, would rather pay a little more than to be ridiculed in a dugong hehehe. Just want to know if I'm an isolated case or its a norm for people with 100% city driving.

The left side of the car has a big well-know blind spot. Very difficult to judge how close the curb is when you do a left turn and also difficult to see oncoming cars on the left. Right cornering is ALSO a problem due to blind spots. Parking is also a problem as you can't see the front of the car. sweat.gif

Of course, that's just me driving my new city..... wink.gif

do u guyz use the paddle shift in normal driving? is there any special skills we need to learn for optimizing the paddle shift?
*
I usually only use my paddle shifters when I'm in D-mode when I want to drop to 4th or 3rd gear to overtake a car on the highway...so that it can automatically go back up to top-gear after a few seconds naturally.

It's a no-brainer to use it.

Under S-mode, just think of it as a manual car and how you shift the gear. Listen to the revs and when you 'hear' the change in the pitch, then you'll know when you change

If you wanna overtake a car by lowering one gear, why not just press more gas to lower one gear? laugh.gif I thought its the same

Sometimes it's not accurate. For example, you're currently on 5th gear. Maybe when you step harder, it'll change to 4th gear. But when you shift to D3, it'll lower the gear again.

Hey guys, I have a rather generic question:

When you have passengers (especially kids), they get in and out of your NHC rather carelessly, kicking everything along the way... the rear centre console cup holder, lower door panel, rear speakers, door lining, every damn thing!
How do you put on the least protection on these parts to minimize scratches? icon_question.gif
Is there like some sort of clear sticker that I can put on? Any thoughts on this?

Thanks guys!
