LOL I was so proud of my car on the previous petrol pump because I can reach 400km easily. So I thought the fuel efficiency of the car finally came in. But then I just got told that my friends over pumped my car and didn't tell me after that LOL.

They wanted to help, so I told them I loaded RM60 and then I went to toilet. It stopped around RM5x and they continue pumping laugh.gif

QUOTE(de.crystal @ Nov 19 2009, 10:53 PM)
sigh.  I failed again.  Clocked at 370km when the yellow light was on.  I am speechless, speechless and speechless!

Wana ask you all, in counting FC, do u all stop counting when the light is on or until the meter shows 0 of fuel in tank?
*
Yeah I stopped counting after the light is on. Not sure about everyone else though laugh.gif

QUOTE(alexio82 @ Nov 20 2009, 08:47 AM)
I have been driving my NHC for the pass 4 months now and thats about the milage i got so far before the yellow light lid. Am curious to find out what is wrong with it? I've tried diff kinds of driving style but the result doesnt differ much. Next thing i wanna try is to get the system reset at my next car service. hmm.gif
*
Same here! A full tank revving and a full tank light pedal driving, both also nearly the same! Weird.

Yeah fc is a never ending topic. And I am about to bring one up LOL sorry doh.gif Just very jealous and a little disappointed with the fc. If not, the car would have been almost perfect for me laugh.gif

My friend is driving a vios.. 1 bar of petrol = 66km. Total 8 bar. Wtf? And the worse part is his driving style is more to revving.. Compare to me, he revs a lot.

If you wanna overtake a car by lowering one gear, why not just press more gas to lower one gear? laugh.gif I thought its the same

I notice when we off the engine right, the fuel meter goes below the last line for about 1cm?? Is that how far our petrol can go? laugh.gif

Yup, more or less smile.gif I did that once, maybe 1/2 way after E. Even doing so I still had 4 litres in my reserve tank.
*
Woots! That means I can reach 400km easily anytime per full tank! wub.gif Another reason to love my car now laugh.gif

Not long ago I found out a scratch on the bottom part of my steering wheel mad.gif Its not really clear in this picture though. But still loving the dashboard meters wub.gif

I don't know who is behind this, but its definitely not my family.

Its either Honda service centre or Cars in Times Square parking sad.gif

Other than them, no one have ever drove my car(besides my family of course)

Exhaust pipe bocor?  sweat.gif Got lost power or not?  sweat.gif Why dont u just bring back to SC, ask them to check, after all, it still under warranty...
*
O_O So fast bocor? I don't think lost any power. Still nice biggrin.gif Yeah I am going to bring it to SC, next wed wink.gif

QUOTE(mokhzaini @ Jan 20 2010, 02:49 PM)
i love the sound tho.

switch to S, active it, turn off the radio.

rev till 5-6k rpm.

oh it sounds great.

never bored doing that~
*
Oh yeah man feel the pull, the power! Whenever I am sleepy I'll just do that to keep myself awake tongue.gif

QUOTE(loneboy62 @ Jan 20 2010, 10:00 PM)
my NHC reached today and going to sent tint and leather seat alerady, so excited to own it. In fact it is my wife car.
*
Please upload some pics of the leather seat! I'm kinda interested too, the original seats is kinda hard sad.gif

QUOTE(python @ Jan 22 2010, 03:05 PM)
how long the waiting period for honda city?
*
Mine was 2 months+ smile.gif Worth the wait!

Anyway guys, I tested something with the fuel efficiency thing.
I tried to be as light footed as I can, and I'll get 11~12km/l
After this full tank, I often rev til above 2.5k rpm, sometimes 3.5k rpm,
and I got 12~15km/l shocking.gif
In short: Get above 60km/h as much as possible, because below that I notice the real-time fuel efficiency reader will be very low dry.gif But of course drive safely!

Fragile in terms of?
*
In terms of the pull/force

QUOTE(loneboy62 @ Jan 27 2010, 11:25 AM)
Test with Paddle or Auto? How you test and feel fragile? Are you compare with those higher end car? Make sure apple to apple, or else NHC wont be so sellable in the market.
*
Why do you sound so defensive blink.gif I just constantly maintain 80%~90% pedal, the car lowers one gear, pulls for 2 second and suddenly there's an extra pull, very soft though. Can't expect much from a car with mixture of power and fuel economy anyway.

Anyway I went for my 3rd service yesterday at Wegro(yes I know, a lot of bad remarks there. But it's the nearest to my house and no one is free to fetch me around sad.gif ) I complained:

-Exhaust noisier than usual at certain times only. Forum brothers say maybe bocor or what.
They checked, and say no problem \:

-Rough gearchange, again.
Their answer? "Reset the ECU eledi, you drive n see how la". I told them every time I send for service, I bring this up and they came up with the same thing.

Then they try to explain another same thing again, this is conventional gearbox bla bla not cvt. Before he could finish, I interrupted him saying my friend's vios is conventional too but no jerk/not as obvious as this. Then at the end of the day, we could do nothing about it but to accept it

-Rubber strips around the door doesn't seem to be in place.
Finally a more satisfying answer. They are ordering them and will call me after they receive it biggrin.gif

-Alignment problem I guess. Steering straight, sometimes car moving left. They say they will fix it with a charge of RM63. No difference. Can't conclude anything. Maybe road problem

Even though it wasn't that satisfying but still acceptable, but when I was about to collect my car, they asked me to drive it out myself at the car washing area. Yup, foams all over the front of my car and I was like doh.gif

I may seem like complaining a lot, but deep inside I still love this car wub.gif Greatful at the same time

Hahaha.. Actually the mazda 3 interior caught my attention when it was displayed in Times Square. But my dad say the resale value not good etc. So forced to choose between City and Vios laugh.gif Honda ftw! Thanks to the interior too haha.

Well I would like to hear some vios COMMON problem so I would stop praising it x:

Same here, kevin23 biggrin.gif But the first few weeks I kept monitoring my real-time fc meter.. so sometimes can get 400 before the petrol light appear.

Omg do you guys always hit bumpers? I always have trouble with bumpers when I carry passengers unless they are leaf-weight.

1. The car and the bumper will contact if the car carries more than .. well me LOL

2. Very stiff suspension leads to very bumpy T_T

True?

I don't understand how u hit the bumper? Do u mean the mudguards and inner part of the fenders?

Yep a bit bumpy but nice for cornering biggrin.gif
*
QUOTE(danielisme @ Feb 10 2010, 10:39 AM)
think its hit the water fender but not the under carriage.
althought the suspension is harder but it give good corner handling. tried up genting hill. much better than waja, wira and vios.

my friend vios car added the cable to give car rpm very good respond but cost rm 6k.  my car eat smoke when go up genting , lose gap every corner up..
*
I have no idea where it hits but when it hits, it makes a very loud knock sound sad.gif

To be honest, I don't know how fast can I corner though. Mine is pure stock wink.gif

QUOTE(ykc @ Feb 10 2010, 11:05 AM)

On the way back to Penang, this is what I can tell from the trip o_O

1. Maybe my friend's previous City had alignment problem, if not then NHC certainly doesn't sway as much as the previous one. Or I felt none unless I passby lorries or busses thumbup.gif

2. I changed from Gen2 to City, at high speed both cars make loud noises brows.gif But nothing naughty. I wonder if there is any sound-proofing upgrades I can make

3. Power was awesome for a 1.5L car thumbup.gif Slower, but not a problem catching up with my dad's car. Totally trashed it for the first time man, my rpm was 4k average. 2.5k was lowest, 6k+ .... brows.gif

4. Revved so much, fuel consumption is lower than driving below 3k rpm city driving laugh.gif

5. There was a big turning around KL highway that time and both my and my dad didn't know about it, amazingly the City corners well and was keeping my own lane ohmy.gif It was a big 90 degree round turn, if I'm not mistaken I was around 70km/h~90km/h that time, no tires screeching

Overall it was fun! Got tail-gated by a dangerous Vios driver though
