QUOTE(bjay1482 @ Nov 16 2009, 11:18 PM) .. yeah, and spending more time on HC3Msia.com instead mah Added on November 17, 2009, 1:13 am QUOTE(jytanx @ Nov 16 2009, 11:43 PM) HM actually officially call the NHC as the 3G, partly the reason why we used the "3" in the HC3.. but for the sake of not confusing the general public who has gotten used to the "mainstream" label, we also acknowledge the NHC as the 5GYep.. the 2007 model is the 4G. If I'm not mistaken there's also a 4.5G i.e. the model with the honeycomb front grille and printed antenna? Added on November 17, 2009, 1:17 am QUOTE(chrissaro @ Nov 17 2009, 01:03 AM) My main windscreen was hit by a stone, most prolly from the vehicle in front of me and now there's a 'star-like' crack on it...haizzzzz...sakit hati giler!!!! I'm in no stable emotional state to comment further...really saddened... Any recommendation where can repair this kinda crack? Heard there's this doktor cermin in Puchong...where exactly is this doktor? Anyone? And what's the price like? Thanks! Looking at the website, there seem to be quite a few branches. Check out the link below. I don't know how much it cost though, but I did read in NST's CBT and it seems > RM100 Dr Windscreen Branches and Contact This post has been edited by sysh: Nov 17 2009, 01:17 AM |

Yep... 185/55/R16 for the stock, but max you can go is 195 'cos our rim's width is 6J (unlike the normal 6.5J) hence if you put 205 it will look like a muffin (ie. bulging)
de.crystal: printed antenna is the 4.5G City whereby there isn't the mini-bee sting antenna, but just mini lines across your rear windscreen, just like your demister. |

QUOTE(-PuPu^ZaPruD3r- @ Nov 17 2009, 04:50 PM) Hehe, just asking.. Me 4.5G.. HC3 only for NHC right?? Hehe... Thanks, Mildwarde Mildwarde, u going to the UOTT tonight? I wan to go but have to go collect my Assassin Creed 2 tonight.. I'm using the Modulo bodykit.. IMHO, I don't like the AirMaster kit. I've got a saggy rear-end already, I don't need my car to have another one..hehe! Actually although HC3 is primarily made up of NHC owners, we do not discriminate. We've got a 3G City and CRV OM too... if you're from TC you would know fooken If you don't want to be an OM, no worries.. just join the forums as a Forum Member (FM).. it's free, but of course less benefits and threads that you can access. But no restrictions on UOTT, everybody is invited..we do have to eat and drink, don't we? |

QUOTE(-PuPu^ZaPruD3r- @ Nov 19 2009, 02:13 PM) Ok not wanting to stir the bottom of the pot again iro FC issues for the NHC, I would like to say that IMHO the use of the 5AT as oppose to the CVT did affect the FC. However to also note that our "reserve tank" is huge and usually the annoying 'fuel indicator light' will come out when we still have 9l of fuel in the car.On average I can hit about 13km per litre, this is raw calculation and not the est. from the meter (50:50 - City:Highway) And usually for 33litres I can get 430km.. if you take into account the 9litres in the reserve tank, that's another 117km So in actual fact, if I had to drive it till empty.. it'll be 430 + 117 = 547km (let's say 540km) I think that's actually decent for RM75.00 Compared to my P1 Waja from before, RM90 gets me 420 - 450km? QUOTE(chooikw @ Nov 21 2009, 10:49 AM) do u guyz use the paddle shift in normal driving? is there any special skills we need to learn for optimizing the paddle shift? I usually only use my paddle shifters when I'm in D-mode when I want to drop to 4th or 3rd gear to overtake a car on the highway...so that it can automatically go back up to top-gear after a few seconds naturally. It's a no-brainer to use it. Under S-mode, just think of it as a manual car and how you shift the gear. Listen to the revs and when you 'hear' the change in the pitch, then you'll know when you change |

QUOTE(erictham @ Nov 23 2009, 01:36 PM) Hey guys, I have a rather generic question: ... you mean like a clear sticker to cover the rear center console cup holder, lower door panel etc etc? Unfortunately I don't know of anything of that sort in the market (there may have), but it's going to cost a bomb. But I seriously don't think you want your interior of your car to look like a Glad Wrap? It'll look awfully funny. Just teach our kid to come out of the car properly, or take off their shoes when they're in your car.. or threaten them no desserts or candy if they start to throw tantrum in the car. Usually works When you have passengers (especially kids), they get in and out of your NHC rather carelessly, kicking everything along the way... the rear centre console cup holder, lower door panel, rear speakers, door lining, every damn thing! How do you put on the least protection on these parts to minimize scratches? Is there like some sort of clear sticker that I can put on? Any thoughts on this? Thanks guys! |

.. oh no. Let's please not get into another "Vios vs NHC FC bashing, why my 5G NHC FC is so terrible as compared to the 3G / 4G ..bla bla bla" thread. I think everybody's sick of it, ok? Let's move on shall we?
Note: I may request for a mod to delete any bashing posts on the related subject if I feel necessary. This post has been edited by sysh: Nov 23 2009, 10:17 PM |

QUOTE(elru @ Nov 23 2009, 11:21 PM) It's okay, elru. No apologize necessary. I just wanted to keep the thread clean for the other forumers. It's nice to are you've stuck around till v5 Now then... We actually found out that at least one of the tyre makes can actually fit our 16" rim at 205/55 and nit be bulging. One of our OM fitted it on and it looks great! The Bridgestone Potenza RE001. May think of changing to that when I hit 35k km mileage sometime Q2 2010 |

QUOTE(vex @ Nov 24 2009, 10:21 AM) i guess later tyre shop should have the size for ours rim soon lah, as the new city is getting more and more on the road, they sure wan this business as well. There are tyre sizes for our rims already, but problem is the width of rims is 6J and not 6.5J..so most of the time if you put on 205/55/R16 it'll bulge at the side (like a muffin).. so most of the time I see people putting on 195s.The RE001 is a little expensive though... about RM400 per piece (depending on where you get it, of course) but it does fill up the wheel arch a little more and gives the car a more aggresive stance. Shinjite: There are alot of aftermarket exhaust system that you can attach onto the car. Most of the time people just switches the muffler at the end. Not many would modify from the exhaust header itself (cost alot). Alot of ppl recommend the N1-style shape (like the M7 or Trust Ti) type. Low bassy sound. Won't significantly enhance performance (except for sound), but it'll look nice. If you want substantial improvement, you might want to get the whole set (> RM1.5k - 2.0k for a decent one)
mokhzaini: don't quite get you. so your problem is the light is still there? does the usb function work atm? |
