it's design to be that way. No harm to gearbox. Maybe some wear and tear.

I even heard a saying that if you just use ''D'', the wear and tear on that part will be the greatest and things like that.
Anyone accelerate their car initial from D3-D as well?

Hi guys, just got my city last few weeks. anyways, i have a weird situation where at the driver door, the small gap between the door and the car body, when i open the door it's scratching against the car body... until paint also came off. my dad brought it to the service center and ask them y is it like that then they guy said after driving a while with the bumpy roads, the door position shifted causing it to be like this.
i was like "har??! wat??" then the more i drive later the wheels also drop out lo?
even after they repaired that, they slightly shifted the front part of the car (signal light part) then the joint at the windscreen out of place edi sad.gif
can anyone advise me on what to do now? i'll take pics so u guys can understand better wat i described

not sure which method the wear and tear is greatest, but there are so many auto tranny cars on the road and how many that actually complains of high wear n tear maintenance? It's probably not noticeable.

Ask that unprofessional service center to write an official letter to explain what had happen to your car including this -->"after driving a while with the bumpy roads, the door position shifted causing it to be like this."

then find the right channel like honda, cc copies of letter to consumer tribunal and watsoever. this is something not acceptable in general. Even if I were to buy the cheapest car in the world I do not expect it to fall apart from my bumpy road ride.

And from the picture it looks like the fender (the part that is jutting out) is having the problem now. They adjusted your fender and now not align properly.

Share with you guys, the modified body kit which strikes the prefect balance between elegance & sporty look. It's the nicest so far IMO.

Damn, today I tried to rev my car to try out the mid to high RPM feeling. The L15A i-VTEC has got the power for a 1.5liter engine. Sad to say, the ride height is just too high, suspension is not stiff enough & tyres is not grippy enough. It don't give me the confidence to tackle winding roads on high rev sad.gif

The L15A is quite powerful in its class, acceleration at 2k rpm band is already faster than most of the cars in the same class actually.

The suspension & the wheels just don't cut it. I don't have the confidence to take on sharp corner at high rev. Feels floaty & I can't control the car as how I want. (Can't complain much though as original spec s are tuned for comfort)
