hahhahha
well, to me, for any kind of accessory, if it doesn't add either safety or power or fuel efficiency, i shouldn't do it hahahah

the boot tray is worth it. it's going for SG$300 here so I just bought industrial rubber flooring and cut it to the shape to protect the boot.

NHC is not so common, but it's very prominent at driving schools.
I don't think the visor will reduce wind sounds, i feel it creates more drag, more drag=more friction=more noise, besides, it's cheaper to get it in SG i think, got lots of places that do it..

The City is a cheap entry car compared to Civic or Accord range of cars, so I discount that out of my head and accept whatever noise there is, it aint a Lexus, cos I didn't pay that kind of price.

I bought mine at SGD53K (~RM122K) now the price has gone up to SGD83K (~RM190K) rclxub.gif
and remember, SG models don't even come with auto folding mirrors… cry.gif

The only thing that I am toying to do with my NHC that does not fit any of my criteria is the chrome trimmings around the windows to make it more "Accordish" or "BMish" . tongue.gif

I think the door visor will only adds to more wind noise. I will never install such a thing. The only important thing a door visor does is to prevent rain water from sipping into the cabin in case the windows are not properly shut tongue.gif

- Cabin noise is not as quiet as Vios.
- Suspension wise, Vios feels more solid. The NHC suspension feels somewhat 'hollow' when going through deep pot holes.
- Gear shifting, feels a bit jerky compared to Vios.
- Power wise, NHC wins hands down.
- Cabin space, NHC is more spacious.
- Steering wheel on the NHC looks much cooler & stylish.

Don't ask me why I didn't buy a Vios. I always like HONDA maybe because of their VTEC engines tongue.gif

besides, u guys got consider civic before or not? becos a 1.8 civi only costs rm114.98k which is only like rm15k more than city rm90k only...

with better spec, feature and bigger car size also........... shocking.gif  shocking.gif

dude, something wrong with your math, its 25k difference isn't? try adding another 25k loan to your initial loan amount and see how much u will need for monthly repayment every month with the same duration.

Also, cars in SG is always more expensive than here!!! don compare that, try comparing cars in Thailand or India (only pay road tax once for your new car), ours are way more expensive. they have more choices, more colours to choose too... ours are govern by govt.

Edit: Different story if u're earning SGD, their car is still cheap if we look at only domestic living standard. their only expensive thing is the license for your car. (License to own the car)

I think u can try ask other sales man if the one u ask nvr give any discount or freebies......... wink.gif wink.gif wink.gif

like i said, honda itself they dun give freebies/discount one, the only way u can get rebate/freebies is from the commission of the SA....they earned around rm1k at least by selling u the car if i am not wrong, plus commission for ur bank loan i think.

so if u are good, u can squeeze all from their commission.... shocking.gif

I tinted 3M at Apple Auto. I would say it's quite effective. My NHC is black & when you entered the car, it's still hot but not burning hot inside the cabin.

I haven't use any security lock yet.

I paid 1.8k also. I think it's somewhere around that price.

No security lock. If it's fated that the car gets stolen, what can I do right? tongue.gif
