I had contacted 3M malaysia, they reverted that there is not a single authorized dealer in JB to do the tinting.

But they can send ppl down to install for you when there are more than 5 cars needed the service. He said other than me, there are other jb car owner also enquiry about the 3M tint. If when they hit enough quota, they can send ppl down to install.

The salesperson also told me they are planning to setup a service centre for 3M car tint in JB next mth. If it is really setup, next time we can go there for tinting also. Even it is not setup, you can still use the above option.

He advised that currently those agent or so who do 3M car tint in JB ARE NOT authorized dealer. They just get the 3M tint from elsewhere and just claim that they are authorized dealer.

So advantage of contacting 3M to install is better, because you are guaranteed that the product is genuine. To prevent yourself from being cheated with fake tint or so....

saw an ad in motortrader magazine about honda city CVTgearbox. Steering......its electrically driven. But most competent mechanics should be able to cope with it.





GILA installing 3.6K alarm system in a 90k car. question is how many City's of that year were actually stolen to warrant such an expensive alarm system ?

rm3.6xxxk including one time installation fee + hardware + first year subscription mah, after that from 2nd year onwards one year rm140 only i find that it is acceptable lo........

i feel it is safer la.........anyway, u are rite, honda city only rm90k not very expensive actually......... same to rm3.6xxxk i dun find it is ex also actually...

for my new car, i will spend rm1.8k to tint the whole car with 3M + rm3.6xxk for satellite alarm system + a local security lock (yet to confirm what to install, anyone pls recon)...

that's are the thing so far i think of installing........

want to do tinting, use better brand la..............i supposed u will be wasting money for this kind of brand................

I also considered Llumar but decided otherwise. THeir HQ in KL/Cheras area my god... look like chop shop. I know I judge my books by it's cover, but it has served me well so far. Besides, the Auto tint the only importer of Llumar dont have much tint options. Their tints only a few types which really disappointed me. I was told that their solar tint not so good (since they only got a few models to choose from) but security tint is good. Again I was told, i dont have experience.

well it's 3.25% for 5 years, 3.4% for 6 & 7 years, 3.5% for 8 & 9 years

this is the standard rate for now. I not sure if we can still get lower rate or not

check with the dealer lo...i am lucky i am getting old rate 2.82% just few days before they announced interest raised....

i'm going to 222 probably, what about u? not too sure bout the discount yet, later i will find it out. i think the interest is 3.25% as i'm taking 5 years loan. what about u???
