hello guys..i have booked waja cps early last month and got discount RM3K for 09 car. The SA told me the car will arrive this month. My loan already approved and the bank wants me to sign the agreement before end of Dec. So i call SA to ask about the status of the car, but he do not promise when i can get the car.

So, is it okey to me to sign the bank agreement first bcoz it must be settle before end of this year? Or i need to confirmation from my SA first? FYI i already pay a booking fee.

i like metal grey, but he say it is difficult to get that color. cry.gif . So he booked me bronze garnet color.

Guys,
think to grab a Gen 2 with CPS next year.
However, still very fresh with CPS engine.... Base on the specification, power to weight ratio for CPS in Gen 2 / Neo is around 1ps : 9.xx ~ 10kg.
and 0~100km/h is around 10sec.
Any Neo or Gen 2 here tested with Mivec before?
How is the result?
Just need a very rough result.
Pls advise.. Thanks

i usually do "drain out the old coolant>fill in water and let it run for a while>drain the water out> refill in water and run again (repeat 2-3times)...then only fill in the new coolant and water....is this correct way??....or bleeding like someone said is "start the engine and let the coolant come out?? hmm.gif
*
You do this on cps? Actually this way is wrong for bleeding.

Correct procedure is,

1. remove the no.8 screw after the thermostat housing. (Handle it with care. easily loose.)
2. After remove the screw, open the radiator cap and pour water. Pour until the coolant all out and you see is pure water coming out.
3. After that, continue pour coolant + water and then see until coolant coming out, tighten back the screw. See until no bubble only tighten the screw. Tighten the screw while the coolant still shooting out.
4. Start the engine with air cond off. Wait till the fan on and off for few times.
5. touch the upper hose and then the lower hose. Only complete and do correctly when the hotness is the same between two hoses.

Try at your own risk as it so sensitive in campro engine. Done flush it if your cooling system is rust.

booking fee doesn't guarantee anything.... when you put in downpayment and process the loan then only SA will proceed...

plus signing loan agreement have absolutely nothing to do with the car delivery....

i signed my agreement months before i get my car...

if you really want metal grey and time is not an issue, then insist your SA to book that colour....
if time is precious or that color is no longer in production, you'll have to choose alternative color...

okey..thanks for your info...this is my first time i buy a car. already asked my friends but they all have different experience. So i trust what SA told to me.

So next week i will sign my agreement and put downpayment for the CPS.

that's y u have to very careful when send to other mech for changing coolant. Campro or CPS is compulsory for bleeding.
Don't worry about PESC, they will do proper bleeding. Usually they will bring ur car to places with water hose so that they can wash away the spillage.

"read to know.adapt to change" wooo i like this one.

yes, to remove the bubble. That's why they remove the screw to allow the bubble escape for approx 5-10mins with engine running on idling before tighten it back.

I just worry the one who service my car at PESC is newbie ... sweat.gif
maybe i worry too much ... tongue.gif

Most of the EFI engine need bleed the cooling system when flush to change new coolant. In campro, bleeding is so important. Or else, will cause overheating. =)

Noted with thanks,
need to find a experience mech to handle this...

actually, from the graph, does it tells us that the max rpm should be 5000rpm for the max power? coz after that the torque and PS starts to fall off.

is it same in each gear?

Yeah, the max power is around that (the same also mentioned in the spec) which I think is quite weird, usually power will kept climbing while torque may have drop.

Dyno are done in 1 gear, usually 3rd gear for MT.

Added on December 5, 2009, 11:22 pmMy dyno shows the power drop after 6.5k rpm

Why max torque only 103? I thought cps engine got 150.

ps: I don't know how to read that thing tongue.gif
