So, any mod will not change the displayed speed but will change the actual speed. QUOTE(sphiroth @ Nov 16 2009, 08:21 PM) perhaps autobots are a lil' bit different... decepticons have 5th overdrive gear ratio whereas autobots is limited to 4-speed... but my outrageous non-educated far guess non automative background stupid yet otherwise known as absolutely non-sense opinion may suggest that the whole premise of the answer given could be without second thought have high probable of being wrong.... |

with all the computation involved (i.e gear ratios, final drive), it is still the same gearbox. unless some one here is having or intending to replace their gearbox, it leads to no where... |

QUOTE(jctasoga @ Nov 21 2009, 01:58 PM) yep. we got traction control.. hahaha... not really but i think similar lo... no we don't have tc system in our current cps... if u try sprinting while cornering especially when ur tyres are wet.. ur tyres will not spin out of control with the yellow icon (might be EBD or TC working). it works to slow down your gas so that your tyres will gain enough traction and not spinning out of control (too bad no chance to drift) the tc indicator is for future use should proton want to include tc system in their next generation car. similarly, you'd find driver seatbelt indicator is available but proton didn't install the sensor... QUOTE(sphiroth @ Nov 21 2009, 08:46 PM) For triggering the fold/unfold i thought of doing the same thing but one conti owner said to me even factory fitted alarm triggerred/ignition off fold/unfold side mirror cause a lot of problems...I was thinking of tapping the wire for the alarm sound Timer 555 timer circuit which drive a relay to fold/unfold. To distinguish between fold/unfold By using the one or two beeping signal (for sound when arm/disarm) it will fold/unfold. Power Tap from the fuse box (12v) and use regulator to get 5V, or issit a 5V source from the fuse box? Obstacle Have to cut wires... |

QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Nov 21 2009, 11:35 AM) Our cars got Traction Control meh?? the slipage indicator in my opinion is actually for ABS....You mean this light? ![]() I thought Traction Control only come with expensive car... QUOTE(singchaii @ Nov 22 2009, 06:25 PM) It wont have the icon light on. If it sometime light on, the sensor can't read the signal. Sometime it will light on when like doing emergency brake or hard corner with sudden apply brake. yes, the sensor doesn't seem to operate correctly although ABS is engaging...Of course 1 coil one spark plug is better. As our cps using Double Coil. 1 coil 2 spark plugs. QUOTE(eujinee @ Nov 22 2009, 06:32 PM) aiks...???got meh...me drift, hard brake, hand brake, watever also din see the light on b4 while driving... sometimes it lit ... most of the time it doesn't... not sure on how much 'hard braking' will trigger the indicator... if my memory serve me correct, it did lit up when i was doing some 'hard braking' in sepang...QUOTE(jctasoga @ Nov 22 2009, 07:28 PM) everyone got own taste.. hehe.. rims designs are never ending.. hehe.. perhaps.... hehehehe...about the EBD / ABS and skid indicator, i think i will take u guys word for it. it must be my mind playing with me when i saw the yellow indicator... |

QUOTE(singchaii @ Nov 24 2009, 07:54 PM) Yeah.. throttle -> Ecu ->TB Rm1k inclusive of all items involved and installation? Where would you recommend to do it? I'm also interested on VIM mod? Care to meet for TT?Suspension for persona/gen 2 is plug and play on a waja. It more thicker.. About the VIM, VIM is short and long length manifold.. So we mod it always use the short length manifold. So the power will increase. This is the proton edar at pandan jaya right? You stay that area? Yes.. Persona rear suspension is more thicker than waja. Around Rm1k to do that. |
