How to check iphone 3gs bootloader? I'm currently on 3gs 3.1.3. Being a not-so-smart ass, I've accidentally upgraded the version. In which I've googled and there is no way to jb it. Any advices?

no point to search for the bootloader if you have updated to 3.1.3
you can't downgrade nor can you jailbreak it after upgrading to 3.1.3

You sure? Then the phone will be totally pointless right? Cause what I know, mostly all apps are charged!

Hi guys, I need some help la.

I just got my iPhone 3G 16GB last Friday. I've accidentally updated the firmware to 3.1.3 and only now I realize I cannot JB it.

Someone advised me to restore it to 3.1.2 then JB it. But I keep getting the error code 1015. Is there a way to sucessfully restoring it to 3.1.2??

Please help, I really need to JB it to control the iPhone from randomly connect to my 3G connection and send my bill sky high...

Added on March 25, 2010, 1:15 amOkay, I've finally manage to downgrade my 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 via DFU mode. Ran redsnow and finally jailbreaked my phone. But the only problem now is that it's not reading my sim and not connecting to Maxis! What's the problem? Which step have I done wrong?

if your iphone is maxis set u can restore using itunes,no need jailbrake,right now apple stop signing FW 3.1.2,so the bootloader and baseband same if u can get downgrade from 3.1.3 to other below firmware

I just pawned my iphone 3g using pawnage... my firmware is 3.1.3

everything works fine except... I have no network(cellular network) !!!!

everything else work fine.

erm... I'm confused here...

I using a Maxis iphone 3GS set. So it is an officially unlocked phone correct.

Now, I just want to jailbreak it. I understand 3.1.3 cannot unlock, but jailbreaking alone doesn't unlock right? So should be able to still use my Maxis SIM card right?

Please advise. I read that you can jailbreak without unlocking. SO wondering if that is the case of Maxis set as well. My iphone 3GS is 3.1.3 MC model with the latest baseband.

maxis set is already unlock itself and u cannot jailbreak ur iphone 3gs bcoz u r running on the lastest bootrom and 3.1.3 firmware..

everything works fine except there is no line...

I downloaded and installed ultrasnow from cydia... now the system instead of showing "no service" it shows "searching"

evidently you have been missing out on some keywords piyo mentioned, it is a 3G and not a 3GS.

jailbreak for 3G on 3.1.3 is possible, in fact i'm running on 3.1.3 since pwnagetool came out.

Hanxz is right... Jailbreak for 3G is possible.. while 3Gs is still experimental...

I really can't wait for GreenP0ison to release their jailbreak that will work on new 3gs (new bootrom), I really hope its not a rumor
