Guys, i have read through and you have mentioned that 5.12 cant be JB-ed using spirit. My phone's baseband is on 05.12.01 . My iphone is from the Digi. Can i JB it? im just confused with the 5.12 and 05.12.01. Is it same? Please advise.

Another quick question is the baseband mentioned will only affect those locked phones? unlocked phones is ok right?

thank you, my phone now jb and works fine.

but does anyone encounter connection problem after jb with spirit? my maxis 3G keep losing connection today, I was able to download mp3 at 150kb/s and listened to online radio without any problem but now my speed is like 20kb/s and can't even connect to online radio.

Just want to share something important with all those who have jailbroken iPhones.

The latest rockapp update will crash your iPhone. It has happened to 2 units already that I know of. After downloading the latest update for the rockapp, the phone may start giving problems by auto-shutting down. Then when a reboot is done using the setting in SBSettings, the unit will crash and not boot up. So, guys please take note of this.

I'm currently on 3.1.2 redsn0w'd tethered. is it enough to just update to 3.1.3 via iTunes before applying Spirit?
