i wonder when will Rafa finally realized that his defending-set-pieces tactic this season is a scheisse! .. zonal marking... no player guarded the posts... try to quickly set up offside trap after second ball... and some other annoying things.. it's not about individual error but the system itself. well enaf complaining...
it took 4 years for Rafa to change his rotation policy, hopefully it won't take that long for this.. |

Kuyt looks tired in the last 2-3 games... moral and confidence of the players are very low rite now....

This just sums up my analysis for the game.
Different fans have different views about who played badly or good last night. And now im in confusion already on who played good or not. |

14 Minutes extended highlights
HERE I can see the lads did try but once again, it is not our day... we really need to start winning again.. these draws are not helping us much |

QUOTE(mamet @ Nov 22 2009, 10:02 AM) I really dont understand why rafa wont bring Aquaman in.. Well, at least I watched the highlights and I think Liverpool played pretty well. Arsenal played like sh*t yesterday, and some fans even put blamed on a player who didn't have anything to do with it. he looks really dissapointed ... he's good imo .. maybe rafa didnt watch his skills in youtube yet.. |

Do you think Rafa's the only one rotating? lolit took 4 years for Rafa to change his rotation policy, hopefully it won't take that long for this.. Maybe with all the injuries the team is facing now you might think Rafa rotated less. |

One thing about Arsenal, did we swap roles this season lol?
QUOTE(solstice818 @ Nov 21 2009, 11:39 PM) It doesnt matter if he works hard or not.He is too similar to Mascherano and playing 2 same type of players didn't help. I thought Mascherano and Lucas did ok as a pairing. He stood up against the likes De Jong/Barry/Ireland pretty well for the most part of the game.Where is the great attacking Lucas in Gremio? The chemistry between the front 4 wasn't good. Gerrard isn't match-fit (For instance, what was he trying to do getting in the way of Babel?), Babel was pretty threatening in the first few minutes but was replaced by Benayoun who isn't match fit either. And Kuyt, one minute he's doing ok, the other he gives the ball away cheaply. If we have everybody fit, I really hope Benayoun takes his place - as hardworking as Kuyt and twice as threatening as Kuyt - on the right, but we all know that won't happen. But the main culprit last night was *surprise surprise* our defense. The less said about our set-piece defending the better. That, and Rafa's substitution. I'm ok with bringing Aurelio out, not at the expense of Benayoun! You could see City's confidence was wrecked after our equalizer and they were content to sit back. Take out Kuyt or even Insua, not a player who is mostly likely to get you the winner. QUOTE(Playboy21 @ Nov 22 2009, 08:42 AM) I don't think so. He was one of the few players working really hard. Yea, I admit his work rate yesterday was somewhat lower than his usual standard, but he didn't play badly. He has been playing at that level consistently since the start of the season. Rafa has persisted with him in almost every single match and even after he flew all the way back from a friendly in Australia. |

this season seems only few players r performing well, reina,LUCAS,torres,ben,jonhson...maybe insua as well, but he had his up n down performance...
the defence generally has been awful, it save to say now n then, in every coming matches we will conceded goal, unless rafa fix this soon or this problem will be his main reason for his sacking.. |
