since when did rafa change his 'rotation policy'? Do you think Rafa's the only one rotating? lol

Maybe with all the injuries the team is facing now you might think Rafa rotated less.
*
other managers rotate sensibly

but , rafa, the MASTER TACTICIAN, with his famous rotational policy, used to rotates like a crazy man that sometimes those football pundits and experts were baffles by his selection...

like changing the whole 11 player without any reason at all, or changing the player position, or resting player for the next match that is not very important match ....

but he seems to get his senses back , and didn't rotate too much now....

that was few season ago, last season it was a bit less rotation, this season i dont think rafa has any choice yet to rotate or not because all of those injuries kept coming in..

Defense is the problem especially at set pieces. last time we got a clean sheet is against MU which is 6 games before I think.

Although Insua is one of the best youngsters we have, I feel that the coaches have not prepared him enough.

He's made quite a number of errors (a few 'fatal' ones) this season, especially at set pieces. I'm not advocating shelving him because that will be like taking a step backwards, but specifically addressing his weaknesses. Having Masch as 'babysitter', running to help him all the time is not the answer.

This is another reason why I kept insisting that Benitez is not good enough for Liverpool. He's so fixated on team tactics that he doesn't seem to know how to improve individual players' skills enough.

Last night, he was beginning to make some primary school blunders towards the end. I remember seeing him bend down to try to head the ball away when it was actually easier to kick it to the moon. Fortunately, Aurelio was brought on to provide some cover.

Of course, he need to play in order to develop into an excellent full-back. However, this was supposed to be the season to win the PL .. haizz..

He was really solid last night. Much better than Skrtel. Made several last ditch tackles, and headed the ball really well on multiple occasions.

As i mentioned earlier, ever since Pako Ayesteran left, our team is not as tough as b4 , juz look at the amount of injuries our players suffered is enough to to show how important the post of a FITNESS coach is sweat.gif

Rafa will stay at Liverpool till season end unless Real Madrid approach him

The American no money to pay his compensation if they fired him

Liverpool lining up January move for Ruud van Nistelrooy - Exclusive

Ruud Van Nistelrooy is being lined up for a New Year move to Liverpool.

The Dutch striker is surplus to requirements at Real Madrid as he recovers from the latest of a series of injuries that have limited him to four appearances this season.

Anfield boss Rafa Benitez is looking at the possibility of taking the former Manchester United striker on loan until the end of the season as he aims to add firepower to his team.

Van Nistelrooy, 33, is also attracting interest from Tottenham and Manchester City as he nears fitness following a thigh problem.

But he would prefer a move to Anfield because he believes Liverpool will still be fighting for the Premier League title at the end of the season – and that would help him secure a place in Holland’s World Cup squad.

It’s a move that would send shock waves all the way to Old Trafford.

Sir Alex Ferguson believed he landed a huge psychological blow on Benitez when he persuaded former Liverpool striker Michael Owen to join United in the summer. Recruiting Van Nistelrooy would give the Merseysiders a big New Year lift as they look to get back into the title race.

Van Nistelrooy scored 95 goals in 150 appearances for United before moving to Spain three years ago in a £18million deal after falling out with Ferguson.

Real signed Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema last summer, while Van Nistelrooy is also behind Bernabeu golden boy Raul in the pecking order.

Benitez will be given a limited budget for signings in January – and a loan move for Van Nistelrooy is a big attraction.

Van Nistelrooy’s goal-scoring pedigree is impressive. In three seasons he has been the Champions League top marksman. He is currently the Champions League second highest scorer  – only Raul has more.

As well as having World Cup aspirations Van Nistelrooy also needs to secure a long-term contract. His current agreement with Real expires next summer.

The other big attraction for Benitez is that Van Nistelrooy can operate as a solo striker in the way he currently deploys Fernando Torres.
