RVN is kinda old rite. i jus don get y rafa getting him. I rather rafa train ngog or babel for front to replace torres than getting an old player and to adopt rafa formation.

He's a proven scorer, better than Babel and Ngog. Just a backup for Torres.
Besides, he could have the McAllister effect on Ngog This post has been edited by red_brick_zero: Nov 23 2009, 03:08 AM |

we can say all we can about what's with the slump but hey the table don't lie and the fact is we got no depth.
this have always been our problem. Most team have the same problem. take the key player out and result start to go crazy. I kinda thing this effect us more. Rafa can go day and night about lack of fund, we can b***h about the injury but we have to admit we got no depth. Our bench player simply don't rise up when called upon. i dunno why when we hit a slump its so difficult for us to turn the corner. CL is only a mathematic game and EPL is slipping thru our leaky finger and no one seem to know what to do. bad period man... crunch game coming. all we can do now is stick together. we don't walk alone, remember. same old story. Liverpool set piece defending are really poor. tighten their defending during set piece then Liverpool should have chance of winning.

Not much to add. I just have to echo that the way we defended against the Adebayor goal was criminal. No one picked him up from even before the corner was taken. I know we're meant to mark spaces but you can't at the same time leave an aerial threat alone can you?
The first half was an absolute borefest and although we may have been unluckly with injuries early on, we never really gave Shay Given a lot to do. Not enough to justify us deserving to win the game anyway. While we were unlucky when Ireland scored, we were also somewhat fortuitous with our goal when the ball managed to find it's way through to Benayoun after it was deflected. |

QUOTE(zs3889 @ Nov 23 2009, 03:01 PM) This is a classic talk man, every year Liv's fans are saying the same sh!t. And in the past 17 years they have never won a single epl champion, come on face the fact. I'm guessing you aren't a Liverpool supporter since you refer to us as "they". You're completely missing the point though. That statement wasn't meant to be a fact. It's meant to suggest that the reason we've stood by our team despite not having won the league for 20 years, is that we will always have hope in our hearts. I have to ask. What is your loyalty to whichever club you support based on then? This post has been edited by Duke Red: Nov 23 2009, 03:37 PM |

as for me, i would like to see rafa being sack..why?
becoz he's not good enough for a big team like liverpool.. as we know, he wasted liverpool's money so much... buying keane, crouch, voronin, pennant, but couldn't get the return from them... we all know how good these fellow perform in others club... perform well, score a lot of goals.. but, how come they can't perform under rafa? i believe rafa didn't have faith in all these players... for me, he must give them a chance... 1 match couldnt be a indicatior for the performance of all new players... they must have a confidence n it will be only raised if they played regularly and not regularly on the bench! babel, as we know he is such a good footballer b4 he come to anfield.. but? why under perform??? benayoun, simple brilliant player.. i couldnt say anymore about him.. but, why he didnt start every match??? he can be 2nd gerard, but why didnt start previous match??? 1more things is about caragher... he is too old to compete in EPL... always doing a silly mistakes... if u guys notice, he is always playing without a brain... a combination with skrterl couldnt work...why? becoz skrter is an aggressive defender, caragher also blindly aggressive.. it will never work if u have 2 aggressive CB... if u see MU, vidic (aggressive) will play as stopper n ferdinand/evans will be last man becoz they cool.. as for chelsea, terry will be last man, n cannavaro (aggressive will be a stopper)... this is the basic of football mate... i'm saying all these becoz i'm a liverpool follower since i was a kid... my father, brother, n even my mother support liverpool... n now i'm so frustrated will their under performing.... We Liverpool fans are not glory hunters.
I'm sure proud of Liverpool's past, but I'm more interested in backing the club through the thunderstorm no matter what. Even if Liverpool were to get relegated (touch wood) I will still give my full support. Besides, I hate Glory Hunters. I have a funny colleague who supported Liverpool once but now support Arsenal because they can score a lot of goals. The shit is he can't even name the full squad of either teams. YNWA people, its about the spirit and enthusiasm and its not all about the moneh or the medals! This post has been edited by kazuki85: Nov 23 2009, 05:05 PM |

QUOTE(kokakopi @ Nov 23 2009, 04:39 PM) as for me, i would like to see rafa being sack..why? Dude, all I have to say is that you've made some comments without providing much insight. Now, everyone knows I have my grouses with Rafa but the points you've raised leads me to believe you've not really looked into the situation hard enough. becoz he's not good enough for a big team like liverpool.. as we know, he wasted liverpool's money so much... buying keane, crouch, voronin, pennant, but couldn't get the return from them... we all know how good these fellow perform in others club... perform well, score a lot of goals.. but, how come they can't perform under rafa? i believe rafa didn't have faith in all these players... for me, he must give them a chance... Why hasn't Benayoun started every match this season? Well to my recollection he has started whenever he's fit with the exception of one or two games. Why is Babel shite after coming here? Maybe he'll be shite when he leaves, who knows? Carra too old or plays without a brain? I'm not sure where you're coming from. Carra is 33 which isn't exactly old for a centreback. Plays without a brain? I think you forget the number of times he's covered his partner at the back by anticipating balls played into the area. I've lost count the number of times I've seen him sprint across the box to make a timely intervention. Not saying I don't agree were playing like crap but your points are a little inaccurate if you ask me. |
