Form, both are poor. Experience, both are inexperienced. I just feel that Babel has the will to work a LITTLE harder for the team compared to Ngog. Its either Ngog's oversized jersey, or he really runs like a girl. Seriously.

Babel is more more experienced than ngog. He has had over 70+ caps for ajax before moving to liverpool, and now over 60+ for us. If he was not injury plaque, he could have gotten more. He is even playing for the Netherlands. Have a look at ngog, 18 caps for PSG and 19 for Liverpool. And he's only 20 of age..

Seriously, I'm a Glory Hunter. The reason I've been supporting Man Utd is because they have been winning the Epl for 3 consecutive year... and also equalling Liverpool's title haul last season.... Hope that proves I'm a glory hunter

So admitting that you're a glory hunter will get you off scot-free for trolling here?

Reminds me of someone calling Torres spanish girl? Who need manly Rooney who cant scored a shit when he need to score?Girlish Torres FTW

and Oh.. I would take girlish Ngog over manly Voronin anyday.

Girlish players FTW. whistling.gif

lol, then why don't you like "girly" Skrtel? Torres.. girly? haha, that must have been some silly insult by a Man U fan or something. Torres is NOT girly. Well, even if he is, he tries his BEST to contribute for the team.

You remember, when Lucas was flamed like hell by us fans when he wasn't performing that well, I was one of the few who were backing him up. Why? Was he playing well? No. He tries his level best to put up a good performance. That's what I like about him, and now, he's doing really well. Rarely mis-passes.

As for Ngog, he may have talent, and skills to a certain degree, but if he doesn't give his all like what Gerrard, Carra, Benny, and Kuyt do on a regular basis, I don't see him going anywhere.

I dont care about that "manly" Lucas. He is too similar to play alongside his twins mascherano who did exactly the same thing. Girlish N'Gog FTW. Who care about manly or girlish when he keep scoring and creating...

Ngog's stats:

1 goal and created 3 goals in 2 match... Involved in all goals in the last 2 matches.

As I said, he played well against Birmingham and his goal was brilliant. But against Manchester, he played awfully, and thank god he scored. I wouldn't really say that was a confident finish, but as "some" arrogant fans say, a goal is a goal.

His stats may be impressive, but his performances, apart from the Birmingham one, have been poor.

Yeah i agree with Sols.
I mean you guys back Lucas cause he gives it all for Liverpool. If he gave it all, he wouldnt have missed the header when we needed him the most.
Ngog in my opinion gave his all tonight. Even if its not good enough, he did his best. Babel too did his best before getting injured.

I beg to differ.. For me, Lucas is just a fringe player.. Not a world class.. He has no influence at all.. Babel and Agger were unlucky to be injured today.. Ngog is no Torres and judging from his performance today, he never will be, not even 70% Torres..

Anyhow, I don't think we will win anything this season, but if we lost our top four place, I'm sure Rafa will be sacked in the end of this season.. Injuries may hamper our title quest but there's no excuse for failure being in the top four.. one win over 10 matches? That's not Liverpool.. That's Kelantan

Ah, I have to admit, that header was a poor one. Yeap, I agree with that, and yes, Babel played alright before getting injured. But did Ngog gives his all? No. Again, watch the match and see how he actually closed down defenders during the match. He lacks urgency, and he looks like a player who doesn't really care about winning. The winning mentality isn't exactly visible in him.

Remember one part where Ngog had ample amount of space near the right flank, and SOMEHOW he delayed it to allow Bridge (I think) to close him down. Had that been another player, I definitely think the ball would have been rolling around in the 6-yard box.

Ngog really gives us chance. Like just now he earned us a free kick which has given us a lead. In the game against Birmingham as well, he earned us a penalty kick. He is a good player and has good finishing but his pace isn't good enough.

Rafa's future will be decided before winter window.I think....

As for Ngog, lets not be harsh. Even Torres had bad 50-60minutes in game before one minute brilliance. For Ngog, he just have to learn and have more matches under his belt before we make any judgment on him.

Lucas may not be world class, but to say he had no influence at all in todays match is REALLY harsh. He tracked back a LOT, and supported the defense. He was like a wall in the middle of the pitch. Well, this sort of contribution is often neglected, but really, I personally feel he did well.

It doesnt matter if he works hard or not.He is too similar to Mascherano and playing 2 same type of players didn't help.

Where is the great attacking Lucas in Gremio?
