QUOTE(solstice818 @ Nov 21 2009, 11:39 PM) It doesnt matter if he works hard or not.He is too similar to Mascherano and playing 2 same type of players didn't help. Where is the great attacking Lucas in Gremio? That, I have to agree. But that is not Lucas's fault, that is Rafa's. It would have been pretty interesting had Aquilani played.

QUOTE(gerrardtorres9 @ Nov 21 2009, 11:42 PM) Playing defensively is much easier than trying to play offensively. You don't see much people able to play like gerrard, do you? We played defensively, and we ended up being bullied by Manchester City. We were MUCH better when we started to attack them from every angle.

a great striker is not all about finishing, but a striker will always be judged by it.. Alertness, pace, composure, positioning, all of that contributes being a great striker, and Ngog is lacking of those.. Ngog is a striker, but not a great one.. not Liverpool type.. Still having him is better than none (or Voronin).. But if Liverpool is getting serious about winning the league, Ngog is definitely not the answer..
Lucas does what other midfielder does.. Nothing special in him.. If he does not track the ball, does not pass, does not being a wall, then he's not a defensive midfielder.. he did all that as any other midfielder does.. He should be sold if Liverpool can get another excellent creative box-to-box midfielder..

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Nov 21 2009, 11:42 PM) See the look on Aquilani when he walked past Aurelio? I feel for him... Yea But he seemed alright when he was on the bench talking to El Zhar I think. And what do you think Rafa was telling Benny when he was taken off? I don't think Benny was too happy.

We really should get another striker who can actually compete with Torres. We now have like one professional player (Torres) and two school players (You know who). This is just bad if compared to other teams. Chelsea, Drog and Anelka. Man City, Tevez, Santa Cruz, Robinho, Adebayor.. Arsenal, Robin Van Persie, Arshavin (Doesn't really matter cause nearly everyone in the Arsenal team scores).

By the way, has Riera recovered from his hamstring injury? And are Agger and Babel alright?

QUOTE(Playboy21 @ Nov 21 2009, 11:56 PM) By the way, has Riera recovered from his hamstring injury? And are Agger and Babel alright? Quoted from LFC .tv QUOTE Liverpool were without Fernando Torres and Glen Johnson for the clash and were dealt early blows with injuries to Ryan Babel (twisted ankle) and Daniel Agger (five stitches after a clash of heads with Kolo Toure). Poor agger. QUOTE Quizzed on why Benayoun was substituted late in the game after himself coming on for the injured Babel, Benitez said: "Gerrard had some cramps in his calf. It was between Gerrard and Yossi but Gerrard in a big game scores goals and Yossi was a little bit more tired because he was 10 days without training with the team." Gerrard injured again? Why even care about them? We should sort out OUR problems first before actually judging other teams' performances. And I don't see anyone here bragging about our history. We're all in depressed mode

We had already draw 2 matches at home. Anfield. Lost 4 points away.
Brimingham we got 1 point lost 2 points. Man City also. )=
I really hope to see our good players all come back. I mean ALL*. Riera,Torres,Johnson,Aquilani,Agger,Babel,El zhar and Benny.
I mean all 100 per cent fit. So we can put 1st squad for some tough matches.

Surely he was offside side. Flat stayed down. Kygiakos just can't do anything about that. This post has been edited by darrengoh: Nov 22 2009, 12:13 AM

I go Liverpoolfc.tv have a look. LOL.There writen like this. 76 mins : GOAL! Stephen Ireland: An offside Ireland tucks home to give City an undeserved lead.
See properly. AN OFFSIDE Ireland. Definitely Offside. At last poor decision. If not we should won by 2-1 as benny's goal was count in as well. (=
Rafa should thanks benny for save him alive again. Anyway every matches is Rafa's important match. Once we lose yet again. Sack him.
