the biggest monitor available to us would be the 30" apple and dell monitors.

What about displaying a 10MP photo on a Full HD (1920x1080) monitor and a HD Ready (1024x768) monitor.  Do they have any difference?
*
No difference. Just you have scroll the photo more then FullHD monitor when you view in actual size.
Non Actual size? No difference too.

Must see dot pitch size also, if 21.5" 1920x1080 vs 1064x768 15" LCD, the images 21.5" will appear sharper.

I mean will having a full HD monitor gain video output while gaming? can we see improvement in term of in game graphics?

in other word will it benefit normal user like me, who only gaming, surfing and watching non-expensive movie?

Obviously the 1080p monitor will produce a sharper picture as it can display 2 million pixels compared to the 800k pixels by the 1024x768 monitor

Higher pixels count =Sharper picture/video

if you got like a 24" at 1920x1080 its going to look bigger and still as sharp.

and whats 1064? u mean 1024x768? thats not HD at all.
HD ready would be 1366x768, which is just a fancy name to say it can watch 16:9 ratio movies nicely...but its definitely not HD.

the image should probably look as sharp if your 1366x768 monitor is an 18.5" / 20" etc.
but if at the same resolution when you go bigger like 24" or more, it should get more pixellised...and thats where u need better resolution.

Don't know, I copy and paste that resolution above my post tongue.gif
thanks your explanation
Our view may difference.
We know 10mp picture resolution higher then 3200x2000, so usually we looking at smaller size. lets say view at 30%(960x600)
display in this 2 monitor suppose to be same. no? where I missed?
Display in full size yes 1920x1080 have more space to view. poor 1366x768 have to scroll more to see other area.

Ok simple explanation

Smaller dot pitch = smaller pixels = sharper.
If the 1920x1080 is a 63" LCD, then 1024x768 15" LCD will display sharper images if viewed at the same distance.

Resolution of the monitor, pixel count of your source and viewing distance are intricate stuff.A bit tricky to explain though...

To be honest, the ideal size of a 1080p resolution should be at least 32-37" because this is where the pixels are at their optimum size.1080p monitors ranging from 15" to 24" are too cramped up with small and tiny pixels which have no place to breathe. Thus the bigger you go up until 27" or so,you will get to see a clearer picture because "the pixels aren't so cramped up"

Another point here, if you're viewing video content from let's say 6 feet away(most likely),you will not find any difference watching from a 720p or a 1080p video from a 1080p monitor. This is due to such a small sized monitor.

My own personal experience.I'm using a Dell Studio XPS 16 with 1080p screen.I view my 1080p content and 720p content at around 6 feet away,i couldn't differentiate between HD and Full HD.But if i view from very close by let's say 1 feet away, then i can easily tell the difference. This shows that viewing distance is a very important factor

This I know.
24" 1920x1080 with 24" 1600x900 yea 1920x1080 sharper.

24" 1920x1080 with 17" 1280 x 1024=?

1920x1080 sharper because he is 1080p?
