Its considered kinda "old skool"... a bit rare nowadays. wink.gif Usually a 12V AC to DC adapter unit (2.5A, 3A or higher).. Back then I even modified one to be powered from the PC (since PC have already 12VDC rail).. brows.gif

That's some old school gadget, actually I've never seen it before except in my office. I used to own one 19inch BenQ LCd, even that one does not have the adapter. biggrin.gif

I've already placed my order for DELL 21.5” fullHD monitor (S14ST2210MY) for $609. Just the basic spec without any added accessories. Add $40 more can get me 23” but I'm just fine with 21”.
What's more, the priceis just a little bit over from my initial budget. Its always so tempting to go one step higher for the spec looking at the slight price difference. Later if I choose the 23”, I'll then be tempted to get the24”. You guys know what I mean?

I think they did this because they want to design the LCD more compact design , there's even none mountable hole at behind of the LCD sweat.gif . reduce heat also perhaps? laugh.gif

Hey guys, Im thinking of getting a 23" monitor, and had these 2 models in mind after reading some reviews,
Viewsonic VX2433wm 23"
Samsung SyncMaster 2333SW
Samsung SyncMaster 2343BWX (2048x1152)

So Im wondering, since the price doesnt differ too much, which is a better buy? Im more in watching movie and also was thinking of pluggin in Xbox360 into it. So which resolution is better? The 2048x1152 looks tempting to me.. haha
Really appreciate any opinions! Thx
