Cannot, unless the cart itself is pirated in which shouldn't contain the region data. If you can't be sure whether a game is region locked you can always use the emulators and set it to their specific regions, that's how I check before buying the games. |

I've heard about that cartridge as well, the famous Game Genie cartridge is one of them. I think you can play ntsc games on pal machines with that, but the problem is that your megadrive would look terrible with the two cartridge stacked with each other, except when you're locking Sonic & Knuckles with Sonic 3 of course.

I'm not exactly sure about Mega Key but when I first started collecting MD games I remember there's somewhere mentioning some games still wouldn't work with the cart

Hi all,
Sorry for my lack of participation recently, as I am broke to the core. Anyway, Playasia now have sales for Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 for ~RM135. Is it worth it? |

The Onimusha 1 & 2 is very worth it if you have not played it before.
I don't enjoy Kingdom Hearts though. |

I played and finished KH, didn't really like it but not because it was a bad game, just because I didn't like Squaresoft back then.

But the condition is quite bad Added on May 5, 2010, 12:53 pm QUOTE(Faidzal @ Apr 27 2010, 07:15 PM) I wanna buy PSP games, is that OK? For PS2, my console is NTSC-J so cannot play US games..... Somehow I see very little PSP titles. A lot of NDS titles though. Do they still sell GameBoy advance? What's the price? Always wanted to own one, but the ones in Malaysia are all China clones..... Didn't see GBA. Some shops in Penang is still selling GBA (Ori) the last time i go out Added on May 5, 2010, 12:54 pm QUOTE(TheUndead @ Apr 28 2010, 12:35 AM) didn't see any of these... Didn't get any titles for anyone.. I need you guys to put the max price you are willing to pay so that I can actually buy it when I see it. I can't afford to go back and forth checking out titles. |

QUOTE(ccc1 @ May 4 2010, 05:52 AM) I have a super mega key but not sure if the thing is broken as I can't get some games to work on my MD (I will get a warning stating the cart not valid for the region blah blah ..) Anyhow I am using a MD and MD2 so most of the time the game will either work in one of the machines. (surprisingly both machines are PAL) This post has been edited by LiangZhuge: May 6 2010, 11:24 PM |

I though although CDZ has faster reading speed, the parts used are less quality than the 1st version. As such CDZ are prone to break down.
Last time I almost bought the 1st ver NeoGeo CD, though the loading speed is superbly pathetic, it still give pretty great experience. The gamepad pretty nice too, like the red/blue/yellow buttons. You can play the sound & music of the games on normal CD players. Anybody buying or keeping the Neo Geo AES? That seems to be the ultimate machine. |
