All free, never had any theft problem with courier, but customs.. shakehead.gif

The problem can also be on the post office. Maybe the mail delivery guy stole the package, knowing it came from PA ? vmad.gif

oh the gameshark card/combo thing ? i think some shops still have it . lol. there`s also the net yaroze ps .. tongue.gif
*
Yes, it's a third party product which is quite cheap and easy to get. However I don't think there's a single PS1 games that make uses of this, unlike Saturn that has few games using MPEG card feature.

Net yaroze is actually just a region-free PS1. Not much different if you already have a modded PS1 console.
You can connect it (or also normal PS1) with extra data cables to PC for simple programming (like game basic).

Yes it's true. Only up to 75XX still have the external port, up to that not supported.

chronims has series 1000 (NTSC-J), which has BUILT-IN S-VIDEO PORT!

Also, turn it upside down if it overheats.....

People in Japan now strip it down and use it as a base to make audiophile CD players......
*
I thought people turn it upside down because the optic is already not reading properly ?

Ahh, nice to be back from vacasyun....

Fired up some retro game consoles, but got a major surprise....

For Dreamcast, why does sometimes it will randomly reset itself? Too hot? Mine is unmodded Drramcast bought from ebay. The console is played at most 1-2 times in a year....

For Saturn, first time I fired it up, the drive did not function! But after 10 minutes, and several resets and powering on/off, the familiar Saturn intro flying screen came on and it can finally read discs. This one I last played back in 2008! It's a modded Saturn (can play games from Uncle Jack Sparrow....)

So, any ideas on what may cause the problems for my consoles? Lack of play?
*
Hi Faidzal. For the Saturn what u mean w/ drive not function, is it not spinning or cannot recognize the Saturn game disc ? I have one modded saturn if not played for long time also cannot recognize game disc but audio cd no problem. After some restarts (also sometimes give the console a bit shake), it would recognize the game disc again. Not sure what's causing this also though, but it could be due to the mod (either a bit loose or something else) in my case.

Look like Photochop....

But if it is real, then nice mod again! Reminds me of the Aiwa Sega Mega Drive/Mega CD mini compo console except with monitor!

There was a portable Dreamcast made using an original DC with the Sony PSOne LCD monitor called Treamcast, it has been a while since I saw it selling in eBay.

Like this one:

[attachmentid=1515569]

Now that's one DC I'd like to own!
*
I believe Treamcast still can be obtained at quite reasonable price, since there's still quite number in the market. This a third party product though, not endorsed by SEGA.

There's official product called SEGA Divers, which included a built-in monitor, tv, remote control, internet, tele-conference and keyboard. This is not portable, but the ultimate dreamcast console of course smile.gif

because currently most of the old console that i test all in black & white color when using RF.

I think for Atari, you need to have a modification to use with AV cable just like Famicom.

have any of u guys heard of dc gddrive lens replaced with pc-cdrom lens?
*
I don't think that's possible. But if u got a spare lens from another broken dreamcast but the optic is still fine, u can easily remove the whole optic set (including the motor and enclosure) and install to another dreamcast.

If the optic is not spoiled yet but cannot read disc, maybe u can try to adjust the laser by turning a little bit the screw nearby the optic. Sometimes it can revive the optic.

To ease the loading one should consider CDZ, I found that it really makes 'some' difference tongue.gif

Elaborate more on CDZ
*
CDZ actually has the same cd read speed of 1x, but it has more buffer and more efficient motor so it can load the game faster. Compared to the long loading time of the standard neo geo cd, consider this one 'slightly' faster tongue.gif
