haha you'll obviously recommend him Eddie s730 tongue.gif
i can predict it
Oh btw user MusicForLife: as you say music like adam lambert, one replublic don't really sound nice on it as you can see from those reviews..
those are other people's opinion. You gotta try it yourself to know which is great or not.

Yea, out of speakers he listed above, I feel that it's better that he upgraded to S730,

aego m is gd no doubt, but the price has increased from RM620>Rm750, don't really worth it IMO, and it's best for those classical/jazz type of music only. Klipsch, hmm, gd luck finding it. Razer is pretty gd no doubt, but if you really ask me whether to choose the Razer or the 730, then the answer will obviously b the 730. Cheaper yet better.

most apple store will sell this harmon kardon soundsticks so it doesn't mean you have to go all the way to lowyat to test it out
oh I can tell you the bad points about this speaker tho
the volume control is not very user friendly
volume fluctuates when adjusting
it can get gradually louder.....AND ALL OF A SUDDEN IT GOES RIDICULOUSLY LOUD.
that's something I don't really like about this speaker

other than that it's great for the price

had been using the sound stick ii 3 yrs prior 2 distributing them, had actually bought it fr an apple reseller whom i'm sellg 2 them now ... nvr came across d vol fluctuating, its jz a hi-tech way of cntrllg d vol instd of d boring rotary dial whc old schoolers may find it hard 2 handle, tats all tongue.gif

hmm,can't be tongue.gif
I've tried this speaker a lot and the volume control is the only one stopping me from getting it
for instance I want to change the volume a little and it won't allow doh.gif
another example was like "I wonder how loud is loud?" but then I have no answer till I play some songs and scare the guts outta me doh.gif rclxub.gif

It's not the sub that makes the Edi S730 beats the Mako, it's the SQ of the speakers that makes me choose the S730 over the Mako.

p/s: Do you hv a better speaker to recommend over the S730? hmm.gif

agree, the reason i did not really impressed by the S730 is because after long waiting from the news (S2.1 MK2) the 10" subwoofer doesn't actually sound as big. it's louder than most 8" but not deeper. of course, the satellites is very good, much much better than S330.

no problem, all sound card should do well. but if you're using desktop you could actually get the PCIe xonar instead.

Hi guys I'm completely new to the 'Sound' Department. Can anyone recommend me some good 2.0 or 2.1 Speakers for my TV? Mostly used for movies and PS3 gaming. Budget RM150-RM200 ish.
I've done some research and apparently Sonic Gear uses fake tweeters. So I'm considering these two brands
Edifier M2300 vs Altec Lansing VS2521

Both priced RM180-ish.
Which is better? Or any other brand to recommend?
