M3300 should cost around 220+. for RM300 i don't know much, but I do know Sonic Gear BT3 cause i helped my friend bought his Armageddon A5 which is virtually the same thing with orange accents. All I can say if you have faith in Sonic Gear you can try the Armageddon A7. I hate how it looks, and the brand it comes from, but if i only have RM300 to spend, I am willing to get that one, after listening to it in some stores. It cost above RM300, but someone mentioned he can get it at RM280 at PC fair. It is way better than Bt3 and Armageddon A5 overall.

you can always substitute that sonic gear crap with Divoom XForce-3

I had a bad experience with my BT3. I love my BT3, but recently my right speaker's connection to the sub-woofer had kaput. Now when I turn the volume to middle, the sound is distorted. Almost cannot un-listenable. It only serves me not more than 1.5 years already kaput. Now finding a replacement to my speakers set. Don't think I will ever buy Sonic Gear due to its quality issues. Anyway thxs for the info about the pricing. =)

@Earendil:For Aego M,it shouldn't be a prob.
I mean Aego M can handle most of the music pretty well.
For Razer Mako,not only overprice..but really not so good lo imo.

actually, i was thinking about getting Aego M... because i got 2 Aego T satellite.. and thinking about hooking them up with Aego M. do you think it's a good idea?

anyway, i readed alot of forums about Aego M, some of them explained that Aego Lack of bass which is not very good for movie, and rock/heavy metal song.

is there anyway that i could improve the bass?

i has Creative Elite Pro sound card, is that enough? or i need to buy a amplifier/DAC ?

Haha,if pair with good source(DAC/Soundcard),the bass if set to max,u really will feel over..I tested it on myself.
And you wanna pair 2 Aego T sat with Aego M sub?

Err...I dun think it lack bass...just don't expect the insane base like those crazy Sonic Gear Armageddon...nothing but bass only. I haven't really test out my Aego-M with movies and games yet (too lazy to carry speakers upstairs...haha), but i use it as a amp/speaker for my digital piano. Played a lot of accompaniment music including rock, dance and pop. The bass is very solid without being boomy.

There's more than enough bass there....i usually set the level to 1 only, there are 3 level of bass you can select on the Aego M.

It is really good speakers. Other alternatives would be Creative T3, excellent sound and much much more compact size.

hey, maybe i'll test it out tonite.

btw, how do you intend to hook ur existing Satellite to Aego-M? It comes with two satellite, but allows a third centre speaker....very weird 3.1. I don' think that is neccessary.

Finally, my 5 year old vs4121 has buzzed out. Need a good speaker for movies, music and game at an affordable price.
Budget is around 250. Thanks sifus !

Edifier C3 is great. No prob so far and solid sound. Good for treble but bass dunno coz rarely blast.

for rm 250 you can try Edifier M3300 but expect very weak bass
if you can top up a bit more go get Edifier HCS2330 for RM289

but I can definitely say you'll regret the bass cuz edifier bass not as strong as vs4121 but it's definitely clean bass

what's the current AEGO M market price? i heard last year, AEGO M cost like 600+ now price raised? is the quality improved to similiar first batch? i'm not sure about this... and what's with RoHS Pass?
