Daikin aircon a bit noisy when set the fan to full..sometimes, even disturb my sleeping.
The air vent like no so well designed.

Hello darkness, my old friend,
I've come to talk with you again,
Because a vision softly creeping,
Left its seeds while I was sleeping,
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within....

When I needed a rather long HDMI cable for a HT set up several years ago, I was appalled to see the prices as high as RM200 for a meter of cable. I gave up and looked for it in the Internet.

I bought 16 meters of it from http://www.bettercables.com/ for about US$100. It worked perfectly for my HD projector.

Unfortunately the current prices at bettercables.com are no longer that affordable.

nothing has been done yet coz no reply from digitaltech.. actually i am only interested if digitaltech is involved coz only with him involved i can be convinced as some ppl might say your monster cable is fake( yes there is alot of fakes out there) . or our eyes and ears are not sensitive enuf to pick up the diff between diff hdmi cables.. but with digitaltech involved then we can be easily be convinced since he is the expert in this field.. he can point our to us on the spot if we miss out on anything that he can see or hear that we cant... if even he cant see the diff then i think we should be arguing abt whether there is a diff between elcheapo monoprice and monster hdmi cables anymore... if he or us see or hear the diff then there wont be anymore arguments too as we can confidently give the answer to the ppl in doubt

of course u can do your own test for fun.. chances are there might be dispute saying u r using a fake monster cable.. or your test is not accurate or your speakers or tv is not up to par

I had owned a fake Monster and it only lasted me a year or so. The genuine Monster cost a fortune. Well, good discussion.
Even i want to know which is which genuine and differences between fake and ori

what? no, you could loan your Monster HDMI for the shootout - he doesn't need to be there.... Come to think of it, we don't really need a biased observer

the idea is this: during the test, if the differences cannot be observed by normal viewers (who know what to look out for) then essentially there is no difference. If the difference can only be seen by bionic man, then let him spend the money on the expensive cables.

bro if we do the test without him there will be dispute abt how the test was done, the equipment used bla bla bla.. i also wanna see the true potential squeezed out by monster cables that kenot be done by a 6' monoprice... it is better for him to be there .. so he can shut us up once and for all, increases his sales too .. by the way is he on holiday or something.. maybe we should file a police report abt this missing person .. helOOOooooOoooo where r u hmm.gif

I can always let you guys have the properly calibrated and set up room. Although it is not a high-end system, IMHO this mid-range system should be good enough to test it out as it is able to 'detect' any flaws in a BD recording.

Equipments :

1. Denon AVR-4310
2. Panasonic DMP-BD60
3. Dune Prime 3.0
4. Optoma HD65
5. Samsung 40B550
6. SVS 7150 7channel power amp
7. Onkyo NR1008
8. SVS M series loudspeakers : MBS-01 as front wide
9. SVS SCS-01(M) : Surround
10. Belden 1311A for surr and front wide
11. XLO HT6 speaker cable for front
12. Kimber 8PR for center
13. Power amp connected with Kimber Kable Hero, Timbre & PBJ
14. Subwoofers : SVS PB13-Ultra, SB13-Plus, PB12-Plus, SB12-NSD
15. Sub EQ : AS-EQ1

Speaking of which mostly award winning stuffs in a well controlled room.

Done Audyssey calibration and also SPL meter level checked for each channel.

I am very interested to find out more. I'll call the rest of audiophiles and HT gang.

We shall do in this way.

I'll connect the cable w/o telling what cable is being used (everyone have to wait outside). Then, all go in and audition.

Then, change to another cable, same process. We shall do this a few times and we shall see the end result.

Agree?

If I may add my 2 cents. With no disrespect to htkaki, you will need an impartial observer to witness and verify that cable #1 is brand X and cable #2 is brand Y. Also, a vote count sheet.

Waaa ... this one turning out like a general election leh! tongue.gif Damn I wish I could be there.
