QUOTE(afosz @ Nov 16 2009, 10:27 AM) I'll shift to gear 2 if kph below 60 to overtake. Sometimes I push to 75 kph in gear 2. if less than 30 i push to L then go till around 60, change 2, till 90-100 then back to D..I'm not sure this is correct method, but while driving from 0 kph, I start from gear 2 to accelerate faster until reaches 60-70 kph then shift to D. But if down shift from D to 2, I waited until 30-40 kph. if D around 40-65 only i push to 2...then till 90-100 then only D Added on November 16, 2009, 5:08 pmoh ya..and if i downshift to 2...i brake a bit till 100, then downshift + brake...goes to 60-40 within like 2-3 seconds or less This post has been edited by dj.eRicZzz: Nov 16 2009, 05:08 PM |

Just tried driving using 2 but I can only stand until 80 kph, then shift to D. Maybe it just my way of driving, not used of the sound of high rpm.
Btw wanted to ask my brake pedal. It seems that I need to press more to feel the brake. The pedal is like a bit loosen. I can press half and still move. It slows down, but between braking and moving ratio, it moves more. |

@alvin: yalor... but i hope the "time" doesn't come when i'm forced to choose either one (i'm too poor for such surprises!)

its also a possibility that the brake pads are reaching it limits soon ...
get ur braking system checked ... if the pads is still usable and u don wan change yet, then make sure ur brake fluid is at required mark .. need to monitor at least once a week... things to be aware of, when ur brake pads reaches it limits, it will have screeching sound when u brake ... |
