DolphinDiver : Full Frame models are A850 upwards for Sony. FF sensors are bigger than APS-C thus giving you a wider view.

The difference is that in FF you have no crop factor. Meaning your lenses' focal length are what is stated on the lens. 50mm means 50mm whereas in APS-C (A2xx, A3xx, A5xx, A700) there is a 1.5x crop factor so a 50mm lens will give you a view of 75mm (50mm x 1.5).

That's why a 50mm lens will look tight on the APS-C while the same lens can be used for small groups on a FF cam. The drawback is that telephoto lenses will lose some 'telephoto' range on a FF. On an APS-C a 200mm lens will give you a 300mm view.

Dont forget, FF have shallower DOF (Depth of Field), if u are used shooting at F4 on APS-C camera, u need at least F5.6 on the FF to mantain the DOF.

Photobucket is best if u intend to share a lot of pics coz it's much easier to access all the [img] Codes from the thumbnails. Flickr is so lame when it comes to that. Hafta  click each photo to open it then another step then again another step to get the code.

BTW the sensor cleaning cost rm150 at Sony? That's crazeeeeeeee. A Giottos Rocket blower is about rm50 n Sensorklear pen only costs like rm20-30 for stubborn spots.
*
but i do think photobucket reduces the quality of the upload..flickr wise..yea..its troublesome..but if u using firefox u can actually put dome script in to make it much user friendlier..

not sure how much is cleanibg alone..i sent my camera n lens for cleaning n calibration..it cost me 38sgd in total(the camera wasnt covered by warranty since it was bought in msia...

haha..i guess we van say that coz FF doesnt come wth crop factor hence causing shallower dof eventually..

weixuan: The Sony 30mm F2.8 DT Macro SAM is already for sale at Sony Style outlets. Dunno if it's at dealers though.

cjlai: The Sony 30mm focuses fast enough.

cheeft: No idea, though Sony suggests that it works fine in snowy temperature. The A700 definitely works in Antartica. You'll want to keep spare batteries in your pocket though.

shootkk: Welcome back! I like the graduation of #5, the spotlitness of #7 and #8.

shukrie: Great timing (though a lower angle would be better.)

gizmo_pony: By default it is in sRGB (Web standard) but you can activate AdobeRGB mode.

Thanks =)

Q : Another question, I open up one of picture taken with A200 (standard mode), using Photoshop CS4, it shows AdobeRGB, I upload the picture to facebook, it becomes dull. But when I convert it 1st to sRGB, prior to uploading, then it displays the real color. The problem is, are there any solutions to convert all those pictures with AdobeRGB to sRGB at one time ? rclxub.gif

Thanks in advance =)

Mikeshashimi: Your A100 was out of warranty? As sensor cleaning is usually free at Sony.

gizmo_pony: If you're not going to use AdobeRGB at any point, don't use AdobeRGB, if your final usage is sRGB (online JPGs.)

well hobbies do change..im not giving up music...just not gonna perform anymore...ill just be jammng with my acoustic guitar and remember the good ol days with my bass guitar...

Ive reached a stage where to improve on my bass technique and also theory, i would have to sacrifice SO much more time and effort ( as is with most hobbies) and currently band is slightly defunked due to personal problems...... so i decide to putt all muh eggs in one basket smile.gif...
