1.3K is a good deal.. take it .. A300 & A350 difference is only at fps and resolution..

a300 body only can get slightly cheaper than that The rest of the money you can purchase a F42 flash and a 18-70 for a good starter kit

edit : eh.. depends if you get a good deal for the a300 body la. I got mine cheaper

I got bitten by fighting stick poison, ended up custom building a X360 wireless fight stick (sanwa buttons, custom artwork, etc)...... crappy friends...

having someone going to the US, so hope to find some bargain old but gold lense
in addition, can the minolta flash be used on alpha, cos if can find cheap (again) might want to try

Yeah.... there are very little diff to A300 and A350, in fact the higher resolution of the A350 does produce more noise than the A300.

Moreover, u can get a F42 flash with the balance left over from the RM1300....

.. u can read the reviews and decide.. not many ppl use that lens.. especially the Tamron..

..and yes minolta flash can be used on Alpha.. not all.. the one that can be used are :
- Minolta 5600HS
- Minolta 3600HS(D)
- Minolta 2500(D)
- Minolta Macro Ring Flash 1200
