hi, just got myself a used a300
i still can't figure out how to control the EV in manual mode. it seems like it is automatically selected by the aperture and shutter speed. do you guys have any website that giving guides on controlling EV or if u willing, please write a short tutorial for me thanks all sifu!! p/s: can add me into the list? |

QUOTE(ieR @ Nov 6 2009, 10:59 AM) *assuming u are really new to DSLR, did u turn the dail? u can only set the apperture and shutter speed when in M mode. other is semil manual which the AI still control the rest of the settings *** i think i gotten what u mean, that it correct, changeing ss and aperture = changing EV, it is not control by the AI, it was controled by u QUOTE(ronnie @ Nov 6 2009, 11:07 AM) too bad i bought second hand |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Nov 7 2009, 10:35 PM) not sure if there's a X'mas sale.. but the MDH are very fast moving product..always no stock for the color u like. then do u know anywhere in KL that i can find bagman? thinking to get the 7mdh look-a-like of cos Crumpler store sells only Crumpler... Bagman is a Crumpler MDH look-a-like |

QUOTE(vcxv @ Nov 8 2009, 08:22 PM) nope... normal exposure like 1/60, 1/80QUOTE(Kul | Mo0 @ Nov 8 2009, 08:23 PM) It is normal if you're using a slow CF card. (: And the macro filter? If its raynox its useful. But if it's those +4 or +8 filters I doubt they help alot in macro. (: how to define slow?QUOTE(v1rtual @ Nov 8 2009, 08:23 PM) let me guess, are you using kingston compact flash 8GB?? yea, kingston 8gb 133x elite pro... is it consider slow? on my A350, it is slow..takes around 2seconds sometimes |

QUOTE(ieR @ Nov 9 2009, 12:30 AM) i think u shot at iso above iso800 and activated the NR on high iso, thus it delays about 1-2 maybe 3 second on saving. nope... shot at iso 100 or 200 only... probably is the CF card problem marco filter, not really, marco adapter like raynox, great. but best and superior still the whole lens itself. |

QUOTE(achew @ Nov 10 2009, 04:09 PM) viewing on my iphone now..it doesnt really looked under exposed..but i'd probably recompose the shot..don really perfer to put my subject at the center when its not that well balanced..but again..its subject to the photographer preferrence/ creativity.. to get url from flick..click All Size on top QUOTE(porkchop @ Nov 10 2009, 04:34 PM) lencent, nice capture of the colour, but the background abit distracting..maybe if u zoomed in more or walk closer to the plant making the plant at least 80% of the picture, then u can get a more bokeh'ed background and less distracting one.....currently from where i see the plant is like 30-40% of the picture..... QUOTE(ieR @ Nov 10 2009, 06:43 PM) nice!!! well, the BG is under, but that doesnt bother at all, the subject is proper exposed. maybe is ur monitor, i assume everyone thinks it's fine comments noted, will try again next time |
