i have a prob... i am using maybank debit card to pay for food.. the guy input the wrong amount, then void it, and charge me again... but when i go back home to check online, it was charged twice!! anyone got such experience before? how long does it take to get back the void amount?

Can I get some information regarding CIMB e-Mastercard. It claims to be able to do everything a Mastercard can do (while it is a "prepaid" debit card). For PBB D2D VISA debit card, the annual fee is RM8. It used to be RM12 but it's now RM8 only.

Only credit cards can be used, not debit card as they immediately deduct your bank balance.

I try to add my maybank visa debit card in paypal but it always says error this card has been denied bla bla something.... any ideas ?

Yes, just had it done at a branch.

And how unbelievably inefficient they are at this:

- when you first apply for the card, this should already be part of the form asking about what you want to do, and sign your requirement at the same time.

- when you pick the card at the branch (if you chose that option), they should at least let you know you need to sign up for linking and do it at that point, without having to go back to the branch, again.

- if your IC number and name match on Debit card application and the existing pbebank.com login, they should just let you do all this on-line.

No need to waste time in traffic, parking fees and waiting in queue for their Customer Service to fill in those *** forms.

I'm not sure if anyone else will have this same issue with me, just to share. Lately, I've been using my Maybank Visa Debit card a lot and all of a sudden it started to get declined. After calling customer service, I found that the reason behind that was for I had more then 50 transactions in a month. After that, there is a block placed that can only be lifted either by ur home branch or walking into any Maybank branch

No. It's a regular VISA debit card. Maybank doesn't issue VISA Electron.
